Harefoot perked his ears at the sound of another Clan cat. Rabbit-dung!
He had to hide before they could report him. Wait, loner? Harefoot was sure he had seen this cat at gatherings. Curiosity led him out of his position in a shadow.
"What? You're not a Clan cat?" he blurted out. Duskrunner was a familiar name.

It seemed like a daunting idea. He couldn't leave his siblings either but the monotony of Clan life was unbearable. Could he live as a rogue?
