He felt so useless and disheartened, but he had to keep going. If not for himself, for those Citrusflower left behind. For her children still left.

Honeycreeper padded up to Crowskip.
"We have to go. There is a cat leading everyone to safety. Grab your kits and we should move."
He crouched down low to the 3 kits beside her and motioned for them to climb up onto his back.
Crowskip stood, head hanging but eventually picked up Dewkit's broken body and padded to the others.

Applekit walks behind the warriors. Little one, I'm almost six moons, he thinks, but he's too busy being terrified to care. His fur prickles with anticipation. Owlfeather's heart ached further as her grandkit bounded into the scene. She could sense the emotion in Ebonypaw's cry, and she rested her tail on the apprentice's shoulder as a sign of silent comfort. When he offered to help, she nodded to him. Although the way he spoke told her just how absolutely livid he was. WindClan was going to pay for this. A retaliation was in order, yes. But this? This level of death and destruction? It couldn't possibly be necessary.

Owlfeather was grateful for Ebonypaw's help as they carried Citrusflower's body.

Crowskip's maw opened and let loose a rattling, hoarse howl that rose to an anguished scream. Wordless, harrowing, broken.

Crowskip turned to Spiderkit, heart broken that she didn't understand that her sister was dead, but didn't have it in her to tell her otherwise.
She just grumbled wordlessly into Dewkit's body as she held her and rested her tail onto Spiderkit.
Her throat hurt from screaming. She wanted to stop and drink before they left but..... she couldn't bring herself to set her down.

When Oakkit tried to curl into his adopted mother, Whiskernose almost broke.

Crowskip eventually quieted, letting off nothing more than hiccuping sobs, face pressed into her kit's body and feeling the warmth of her life still into the cold of death.
She eventually looked up as Flintspirit offered help.
She looked for those of hers still left..... and only saw 3.
"Where..... where is Vulturekit?"
Please, no. Please tell me I didn't leave him....

She was tired, but Spiderkit didn't realize what happened. She can't just push her away. Shed already been pushed away by her real mother.
As Crowskip walked, she twisted and flicked her tail in different ways to make it more fun to chase and try to catch her tail.
