Cottonstrike looked at Snow than at Dreampaw. "I didn't want Dreampaw to get in trouble for leaving camp without a warrior. I'm always looking out for Thunderpaw's sister as if she were my own." , he meowed. In riveeclan apprentices weren't allowed out of camp without an older cat. Sure Dreampaw was older than he was, but she didn't need to get in trouble.

On a really good stride on here and Barleypaw is really close to getting her post counts finished for her training. If there is anyone who needs a cat to help with anything feel free to VM or pm. I want her to be more active along her clanmates.

Eagleflower nodded softly, his bright green gaze lingering on...Snow for a heartbeat. The pain within the dirty white tom was killing him. How could this broken-hearted cat- who had experienced nothing but sadness and hurdles of blame in his life- still believe that everything that had happened was his own fault? All he wanted was to reach out and give Snow a hug of sorts, but the brown tom wasn't so sure how well that would be taken. After living a rogue's life for so long, probably not well.
"Uh...I injured my paw a while ago and I wanted to build up some strength." He murmured, shuffling his legs in the leaf-litter. It was a white-lie. He was there for that reason, partially, but he really just wanted to help support the rest of his clan after being away for so long. Despite his paw still being injured in this moment, and despite being told to take a while off. Perhaps part of it was to show Lionstar that he wasn't just some klutzy nincompoop. Which he was.

Realisation hitting him hard, he took his gaze away from Cricketleap, quickly becoming interested in the grass under his paws. Wasn’t that stupid. His friends had know him his whole life. How does the way they address him matter?
Snow raised one brow questionably at the tom. He had seemed fine, his gait nothing out of the ordinary. Shrugging, he moved his attention to something he found rather exciting.
“Your assessment?”
The tom hoped his voice didn’t hint a tone of jealousy.
Snow had no idea what disputes between the clans had occurred after his departure. Not even how much time had past. In the time he’d disappeared he could have had his assessment. If Raccontail had returned, that is.
Then perhaps he would never had left after all.
