The Tom began to run back to his small clearing so he could help the kit. He hoped Tiger could follow his scent as he reached the clearing and rushed to herb storage with Lion. He set the kit down and grabbed some herbs for the kit's eye.

The tom applied the herbs and carefully started to move Lion to a nest towards the back of the den. When he returned, he sat in front of Tiger and sighed. "He should be fine for a while, when he starts to wake up I'll go fetch some prey from storage so he can eat." he said exasperated from the stress of trying to save a cat.

Lion woke up and moaned. He remembered his encounter and the nice cats who took him in. Unlike most, Lion could remember things that happened around him even if he wasn't consious. "Hnks vur uping e". He murmured through clenched jaws. (Thanks for helping me)

He heard the kit and went to the back with Poppy seeds. "Hey kid, I got you some herbs that'll help ya. Here, eat them if you feel pain anywhere." he set down the leaf of seeds and unfurled it, nudging it towards the kit.

Lion lapped then up, holding his jaw at a weird angle. It was broken. He moaned with the effort of swallowing, and drifted into a painful sleep.

He frowned, that jaw looked wrong. He went over to his herb storage and checked if he had sticks for a splint. He saw one and split it in half to fit the young kit's jaw. He grabbed a bundle of cobwebs and went back to the kit to straighten the jaw. He gently held the stick to his jaw and made it stay with the cobwebs, repeating the process on the other side. when he had the jaw straightened, he let the kit rest some more and went back to Tiger.

He sniffed the air and scented a cat. "I'll be right back," he hissed. He trotted out towards a border were he found a cat. He hid in a bush and waited for a time to leap out at them. He decided to pounce after a minute and hopefully pinned the cat. @Roseleader @Rowan2021
