Fawnkit sneezed and gave Featherbreeze a slight glare before fluffing up his fur and trying to look bigger.
It attacked me. I was defending myself!
Fawnkit sneezed again and turned to Featherbreeze.
Are you done with patrols yet? I'm bored.

She smiled a bit at the thought of a snail attacking Fawnkit. "Well if you're bored, I could help you find some more trinkets." Featherbreeze suggested. There were shiny rocks, shells, stones, and a lot more all over the camp that could keep Fawnkit busy and not so bored.

Yay! I saw something shiny in one of the trees by the nursery but I cant climb it. Too high!

Featherbreeze nodded. "How about you show me the tree? I bet I could climb it and see what it is for you." The warrior said to Fawnkit. It sounded like fun to help the kit by climbing a tree to get something. And it also might get Fawnkit excited to be an apprentice soon.

Beaming, Fawnkit raced over to the nursery, his eyes scanning the trees until he ran over to the base of one. It was an old oak. High in the tree, there was a little shining glint of something coming from a bird's nest at a fork in the branches. The nest looked like it hadn't been used in a while and was somewhat falling apart.
That thing! Up there!
Fawnkit said, craning his neck to see the nest.

Featherbreeze padded over and did in fact see the shiny object. It wouldn't be too hard to get, just a bit of climbing. So she backed up a bit, and launched herself at the tree. She began to climb to one of the branches before leaping from one to the other. Featherbreeze reached the nest and looked inside at the shiny object. She began to pull it out. It was easier than she thought, as most of the bird's nest just came apart. "I got it!" She said with it hanging in her mouth.

Fawnkit watched her climb in amazement, his heart skipping a beat every time she jumped as he was afraid of her falling. When he saw her holding the shiny thing, his eyes lit up in excitement.
Woah! You got it so fast!
He called up the tree.

Even though it was a relatively small tree to a warrior like herself, she didn't realize how big it must have been like for a kit. With that, she began to climb down. The necklace swayed in her mouth. It was cold to her teeth. Featherbreeze got down and layed it in front of Fawnkit. "There ya go Fawnkit!"
