Sparrowskip perked up as he was assigned co leader to.. Blizzardsky? One RiverClanner that he had heard MUCH about but had never actually met. Well this is going to be fun. He thought as he approached the other tom. "Hey Blizzardsky, I'm Sparrowskip." He said as a warm greeting. It felt good to finally be doing something again. Right before he was about to talk to Blizzardsky again Amberpaw walked over to ask a question. Sparrowskip was a bit perplexed as she asked it though. Didn't Snakeheart already say what? He thought before he answered. "Are your ears not working little apprentice? Snakeheart said we're gathering brush.. you know the dead bush looking things. Watch out when you collect them as they can be full of spines." Flyfur's way of talking had definitely rubbed off a bit on Sparrowskip, he hadn't even noticed while he reminisced about the time he had been pricked by a bit of brush. He quickly turned back to Blizzardsky to mention "Whenever you're ready."

indicating that she was ready. It wasn't the most interesting task
that she'd gotten but it was more fun then just hunting on her own.

Blizzardsky was a bit offended Snakeheart thought he needed a babysitter,” Sup. Your that ex-medicine cat who randomly disappeared right? Don’t worry, I don’t expect any injuries you can do your own thing.” he meowed noting how quickly Sparrowsnap answered the apprentice. He was only the co-leader not the head leader. He was the head leader and Sparrowsnap was the co-leader. He clearly didn’t understand what co meant at all.


Webpaw hurried over to the deputies group. She’d wreck those Thunderclanner’s paws with all the shells in the territory, she couldn’t wait to see them cry.

Lizardfrost was ready for her patrol. She could not care less about who lead it, she hadn't even met any of the cats there, or maybe she simply didn't remember them. She just wanted to do her job, so she waited for the group expectantly.

Firepaw wanted to help his clan in any way, despite how wrong he thought it was to take another clans graveland. "I'll help".

Splashleap had somewhat expected to be asked to lead a patrol, she was the deputy after all, but that didn't mean she wasn't just a little nervous. Snakeheart clearly thought she knew where a lot of shells were, and while she did recall a place Olivenose......Olivenose had shown her when they had first fortified the territory. Not that it helped her in the end, she thought a bit bitterly, before shoving that down. It wasn't right of her to think that, the molly had died fighting for her clan. She shouldn't think badly of her because of that. Part of her wondered if it could have been prevented. If she hadn't been so caught up in fighting that Thunderclan warrior(her sister, her mind helpfully supplied) would she have been able to save someone? Ottersplash or Olivenose, who both died?

The feeling of guilt was welling up in her stomach, and she tried to push it down to focus on her group. They would have to head back towards Lionsbeach to collect shells, so the sooner they got going the better. Alright my group, let's head to Lionsbeach! There should be plenty of shells washed up along the tide line, and if we really need to we can go swimming for them. she doubted that would be necessary, but it was always an option, albeit a salty wet one.

Turning to head back through the territory, Splashleap saw that at least some of the cats she was with were heading in her direction. Deciding that it was enough she set off, trotting along with only a slight bit of favorance for her left paw. It wasn't really affecting anything, so as long as she didn't bash it again it should be fine she reassured herself, as she crunched onto the sand. It seemed her guess was correct, glistening shells lined the edge of the water. Slowing to a walk she moved towards them, careful of where she walked. After all, she didn't want to step on them!

A hint of mild surprise seeped through Stormtalon’s mask of indifference when Snakeheart called him out. That was…new. When it passed, he simply cocked a brow at the medicine cat as if to ask: really? before his mouth tugged into a half smile (laced with wry amusement only few cats could inspire).

Well. For efficiency’s sake--and perhaps as a thank you for not sending him anywhere with Blizzardsky--Storm decided to save his snarky rejoinder for their next conversation...which hopefully wouldn't be held from the confinement of Snake's den. Besides - Splashleap called her patrol. Cats started moving, so Stormtalon followed, flicking his tail at Snakeheart on the way out.

He hadn't ventured this far from camp since the raid. Storm chose to hang behind, bringing up the rear on their way to Lionsbeach and thanking stars it went by without incident. Now for the task. Stormtalon spotted several hard shells dotting the shoreline upon arrival. As Splashleap padded for them, he did the same; darkness weighed his pawprints in the sand but Storm tried to snuff it out. Just tackle the job in front of you.

Webpaw padded over to her group. Shells were pointy and while she hoped she didn’t get injured she liked the idea of the Thunderclanners getting beat up by the shells. It excited her honestly. She glanced happily at her group.
