Crowpaw just looked down at the... runt? It had to be a runt or something, not like he was gonna say anything though, the asthmatic knew full well how horrible it felt to have your weaknesses you had not control over thrown in his face. So despite all the snark he could throw for once he held back and merely grinned with amusement as he observed the tirade until the little thing pulled claws. Other cats may view it only as a cute little threat but Crowpaw remembered full well the last time a clanmate pulled claws on him. Immediately suppressing an instinctive response the only reaction Crowpaw gave to the threat was his face (not two seconds ago jovial and cheerful) going stone cold and steely the hint of the dangerous fighter he'd become lurking behind his eyes. "Listen kid Im aware your threat isn't likely something you meant truely but pulling claws on a clanmate is no joke. It takes a special kind of cat to do so and trust me I doubt you even know nor do you wanna meet them, so if you wanna joke don't do it about that." He quietly explained before suddenly lightening up and grinning trying to save the tone "But if you wanna box my snout for the insult go ahead, I wont even dodge. You'll have to reach it though." He chuckled straightening his posture to sit taller winking and sticking his tongue out at her.

Rosebriar nodded. “Alright then. I’m eager to train with you!” Her ears flattened against her head, her expression changing to one of disgust. “My old apprentice disappeared. I had such faith in her, then she just left. Well, Outsiders will be Outsiders,” she muttered more quietly, then raised her voice. “Sorry about that. I trust that you will be a great apprentice.”

(When should they have their first training session? It could be a review on fighting so Rosebriar can test how much Quiverpaw knows.)

Quiverpaw smiled, though it faltered slightly as Rosebrair changed the topic to her previous apprentice. "I won't let you down." She agreed, albeit a little more meekly than she probably should have sounded. She chose not to comment on Rose's words about her other apprentice, instead just noting the fact that her new mentor did not appreciate outsiders for future reference.

With a stressed huff, they exited the medicine den. The herb supply was dangerously low, and it was nearly leaf-bare. They needed... webs. Catmint. Two for that. Marigold. They’d hop on a marigold patrol themself. And maybe one more for good measure. Whew. Okay.

Standing at the base of the Breezerock, they called out.

"WindClan! I’m back from RiverClan. Aand... we have an herb problem. I was informed that we’re low on herbs, and the patrols that Shockholly [ @Rainquail ] sent out never returned. The patrols I’m about to send out will return, or you will answer to myself, Breezefeather, or Twilightstar."

There. With that out of the way, and with their Clanmates aware of just how crucial this was, they would start.

"Dimtail [ @Jessica1917 ], Nightpaw [ @Cocoa <3 ], Hawkfire [ @MrChristmastheAJ ], Deerpaw [ @RETALIATION ]! I need you four to go to the outskirts to get some catmint. Get as much as you can! Each of you should be able to hold around three to four leaves, if you can find them. Do NOT eat it! Whatever you do. Go as quickly as you can."

[optional prompt: the patrol finds a dead hare, but there is nothing to indicate a predator killed it. could it have been sickness?]
"Falconspirit [ @PhoenixHeart ], Cricketpaw [ @Siren Bliss ], Eldersky [ @implimm ], Lionpaw [ @Mumble ]! I need you four to head to the outskirts for catmint as well. Grab as much as you can find, and as I told the other group do not, at any time, eat it! Go as fast as you can."

"I will lead Stagpaw [ @Arie ] and Robinpaw [ @hope ] to find cobwebs and marigold."

With that, the tabby leapt down to find their two favorite apprentices. As stressed out and worried as they were, maybe those two would make them laugh a bit.

Nightpaw padded up to his 'patrol- mates' and hissed quietly. He sat down and looked away from those annoying optimists. Clearly there was something wrong, otherwise there wouldn't be so many patrols to find catmint and Snailswirl wouldn't look so worried.

Filled with a strange energy, Bramblekit found himself wandering the apprentices' den. His own ceremony could be any day now, but he honestly wasn't too thrilled with the idea of becoming one, despite his growing boredom with the nursery. He's seen what the apprentice life is like: all work and no play. It's practically slavery. What's the point in living like that? He just had to know.

"Hellooo?" He meowed openly, taking a seat near the entrance of the den. He sat up straight with his ears perked. "I have a question!"

Dimtail heard his name called, and he padded over, listening as Snailswirl explained how important it was this patrol got finished. He had completely missed that last patrol, he would do a good job this time.
Deerpaw seemed to be moderately cheerful, Nightpaw seemed to still be grumpy as heck, and Hawkfire seemed to be cheerful enough for the bunch of em.
"Alright guys, lets go into the territory. If anyone has a better idea of what Catmint looks like other than green leaves that smell really good, please let me know." Dimtail honestly didn't know what it really looked like that well. They could find it by scent if nothing else.
