Waspk- Wasppaw stared up at Bumblestar, her eyes filled with wonder and excitment. She was an apprentice! Finally! After all this time as a kit filled her to the brim with boredom and annoyance. But now.. Waspaw was Waspaw now! But there was one problem. Her Hornet wasn't an apprentice with her. "Hornet? Why aren't you an apprentice yet?" Waspaw asked, turning to look at her sister.

Acornpaw, hmm. Wait, Honeypetal knew Acornpaw! That's the apprentice she'd gone on a patrol with recently! The one where they'd gotten the poppy seeds! But what happened to the kid's mentor?

Honeypetal trotted over to the apprentice. A reassignment meant something happened to her olx mentor. Since he didn't know who her mentor was, he didn't know what happened–nor did he feel so inclined to ask.

They reached where the young apprentice was and leaned down to briefly touch noses with her before sitting up again and smiling. "Greetings," Honeypetal said with a tiny dip of their head. "I'm Honeypetal, your new mentor! We can start training whenever you're ready–but just where did your old mentor leave off your training?"

Aw, Spiderling couldn't become an apprentice yet because of the gathering stuff that Butterflykit still doesn't know much about.
She kinda wonders why Hornet isn't one either though.

But, her thoughts quickly whirl to her new name as soon as it's said.
Butterflypaw!
How fun!

Aaaand she gets even more excited about the next thing.
She gets to be papa's apprentice! With Firey!
"Firey! Papa's our mentor!" She quickly says excitedly, already standing again.
Hmmm.
He might not know yet though, he seems to be at the sick cat place right now.
Well! They can make sure he finds out, one way or another!

Ravenpaw had been listening to the meeting from the apprentice den.
Now Ex-Mentor being exiled and all that.

Her ear twitched at the mention of reassignment.
Hm.
Makes since.

It's just that there isn't much left to learn, not after being assessed already..
Maybe she can learn one more thing or two from Milkbee... hm.

She wasn't quite sure which cat was Milkbee, but as she walked out of the apprentice den, she decided to just call out the name and see who walks over.
"Milkbee?"

Ah. Perhaps she shouldn't have intervened in the first place. Milkbee gave Bumblestar an apologetic look and took her warning gaze as a... Well, warning. And came the reassignments. Oh! What? She was assigned an apprentice? Well, who could this be? Milkbee quickly scanned the clearing, looking for this said "Ravenpaw". Then, someone called her name.

Milkbee turned towards the Apprentices' Den, ears perking. Ah. That must be Ravenpaw! With a happy trot, the fluffy she-cat made her way towards the apprentice, briefly touching her nose to her forhead before pulling away and giving Ravenpaw a warm smile.

"Hey there Ravenpaw! I'm honoured to be your mentor. We'll start training as soon as possible! Just let me know what you've learned so far, then we can get it all settled!" She let out a cheerful purr. The she-cat turned around for a moment to shoot Bumblestar a grateful look, then looked back at Ravenpaw.
