“Okay!” She crouched down like she’d seen all the apprentices do. Her tail waved freely with intent as her eyes stared down the ball until he rolled it. As soon as the moss ball started, she pounced on it, trapping it within her somewhat-developed claws. She picked it up in her mouth, pranced over, and dropped it back off to him.

Rushingmoor had barely spoken to Breezefeather before this interaction and thus had little knowledge of his demeanor but the tom had always seemed more reserved or stoic to Mushy. Due to this, the amused snort that found its way out of the deputy was all the more funny to Rushingmoor and the warrior’s grin widened.

“I’m glad my pain amuses you! Who’s side are you on here?”

Of course there were no sides but it was nice being able to joke with someone. Usually Twiggy satisfied that role but he hadn’t spent much time with her since the ill timed proclamation of love and the next time they do speak wasn’t likely to be filled with laughter. At least this conversation was doing wonders to soothe the knots in his neck.

It seemed he wasn’t the only one with stress tension, though, and Mushy laughed wryly at Breezefeather’s immediate understanding of the tailless. Poor guy seemed up to his neck in problems and Rushingmoor found himself once again grateful that he didn’t have to deal with them.

“It’s been close, I imagine. Always on the brink of death, we are. I do pity you your sanity- I’m not at all sure that this will get better for you any time soon.”

She would show him how good of a kit she could make herself. Her paws were sturdy on the ground, tail waving in anticipation.

leafpaw rolled it once it go in range of her he yelled "GO" and watched her intently to see what she would do this time. she was a good kit and would be a really good warrior if she kept up with this and watching others.

The kit flew towards the moss ball, running towards it and locking it in with her jaws in a matter of seconds. She skidded to a stop, teeth sinking deeper into the flimsy ball of moss. She got back up, walked over to LeafPaw, and proceeded to drop it at his paws. ”Here you are! One...” She tried to come up with what type of prey she hypothetically wanted to catch. ”..Vole! One vole!” She giggled with pride, even though it wasn’t a real catch, it felt like one to her.

Gasp! Oh no she DIDNT! She did NOT just call her face WEIRD. Oh ho ho, what a turn! Finchkit gasped loudly before sticking her face right in front on Berrykit's, blatantly ignoring the other kits personal space. She was about to get what was coming to her! ¨Well, you were born weird! Smushy faces are weird!¨ She shot back, wide hazel eyes staring right into those of berrykits. That sure showed her, for sure! She was untouchable! ¨I dont have a weird face, you do! And im always right, so ha!¨ She remarked, sticking out her tongue in a mocking way. Wow was she great! She was super good at this!

Berrykit didn't care that she put her face in her face. The molly was just going to give it back to her as well. "That just shows your not smart enough to know that maybe to me my face is normal. You face is foreign to me!", she snapped. berrykit let out a low growl. "By the sounds of it your not always right to know that some cats opinions are different sweetheart.", she added. "To me your face is weird and unlikable whioe mine is more unique. Whats so unique about you. Oh yeah absolutely nothing! ", Berrykit retorted.

ReedKit smiled as bright as the sun. “Reed.. Heart.” The name left a taste in her mouth. She shouted loudly with renewed pride. ”ReedHeart~! ReedHeart~! ReedHeart~!” She felt so good saying it. It felt as though she had achieved the greatness of a warrior. “I’ll be ReedHeart, I’ll be something worth that name!” She felt like she could take on the world, one moss ball at a time.

leafpaw felt pride with just a few words he made reedkit the happiest kit ever " now lets do a border patrol around the clearing" he looked at the little kit " youll live up to the name reedheart. youll be the best warrior in the forest" he started to walk acting like hes on a patrol.
