Echowind dipped her head politely to her deputy. A patrol would be the perfect thing to get Whisperbreeze off her mind. At least she thought before Breezefeather added an apprentice. A freaking. Apprentice. Really? It would have just barely been tolerable with Wishpool, but an apprentice? Really? "Wishpool! Lionpaw!" she called calmly. Maybe this Lionpaw wouldn't be so bad... Maybe.

Lionkit walked out of the nursery just a bit to feel the breeze and he saw a raccoon in the camp trying to steal our fresh kill I tried to fight it on my own but it but me and I got hurt so i told twilight star she was very mad now I can’t Evan leave the nursery to feel the breeze twilight star said “you could have been hurt Evan worse! Don’t go out fighting a raccoon your only four moons!”

It does not seem particularly good and therefore I am not too optimistic about it." Be it, he was rather pessimistic when it came to Windclan's chances to get through this leafbare with few scrapes. Something was going to happen they just didn't know what yet and that was what unnerved him. He wanted to know what would happen, when it would happen and this not knowing was slightly stressing him and turning his silver fur white slowly... not really.

Sheeps were dangerous though and they probably shouldn't even discuss the bare thought of hunting one as Breezefeather knew there were a tad too many apprentices in the clan that might want to prove themselves by hunting sheep and he knew that Rushingmoor likely wouldn't want to explain why a dozen of apprentices all of a sudden came back with broken legs or potentially spines.

"Last mishap as in that cliff adventure? I don't think cliff adventures are any good so I think that is most certainly a good idea. But... I'll admit, I cannot imagine that disaster of a cat becoming a warrior... does this mean I'm meant to assign him patrols for himself? I cannot help but fear what will become of the clan." It was all a joking matter when it came to that cat but he genuinely could not fear what would become of Windclan with that disaster of a cat. Was their clan destined to fall to the bugs?

"Don't worry. Kids always make sure they come over and pester you. They never really grow up so you shouldn't worry about that... children never leave you." No... they never did. Even when they left the warmth of the earth they never left you. Despite all of his usually stoic attitude he'd lost his own and he felt for the tom who despite the kid obviously not being his own, still feared being left alone. He had been left alone... but now he had the clan to take care of and he'd gotten better as time healed every wound.

"In regards to that, I want to see if you can gather some warriors who would be willing to dig some holes, I want the holes dug before we catch the prey so that we can keep the prey as fresh as possible when they are dug down."

Rushingmoor chuckled and shrugged. Admittedly, his attempt at optimism sounded more like a fever dream. Oh well, he still felt that they’d hold on as long as they didn’t give up. Plus, Twilightstar and Breezefeather were two entirely competent cats- not to mention the very competent medicine cats- and with leadership one could trust, how could Windclan fall to the rocks this winter?

The cliff mishap... yes that was something to never ever repeat. Breeze’s opinion of Stag definitely was funny, though, and Rushingmoor had a feeling that the cliff story teaser hadn’t helped. The tigger mix snorted- he kind of couldn’t picture Stag as a warrior either, but he supported him!

“Don’t worry, I have a feeling that Stagpaw chaperone is a job that won’t go away quite yet. You can always assign me and Stag to the same patrol if you’re feeling leery.”

While Rushingmoor would have loved to assure Breezy that Stagpaw could handle a patrol on his own there was absolutely no proof that that was true. In fact, there was ample proof to the opposite affect. Chaperoning a warrior may have been odd but Stagpaw would need someone to look out for him even as an elder. Suddenly, Rushingmoor felt his chest tighten at the thought of his own mortality. Who would look after Stag when he and Twi were gone?

That wasn’t a topic to think about now and Mushy managed a smile when Breeze assured him that Stag would always need him. That was kind of him. Come to think of it, did Breeze boy have kids? It seemed like something odd to suddenly ask about- like he should already know- so Mushy filed it away for the time being.

“Sure, I’ll look around for cats to help out. Maybe the guardians will be a good pool for that particular job since their duties mostly keep them around camp.”

" id love to go out into the territory after the meeting, being an apprentice is fun i havent gotten much training but im really good at catching birds" leafpaw said he wanted to get out of camp he had been in camp for what feels like forever

It was once again time for patrol and this time the deputy was rather positive about them. He had a good round last time with everyone reporting in and he was in quite the ecstatic mood. This round couldn't dissapoint he was sure.

To start off with he was going to assign the border patrols and tail twitching Breezefeather looked around for the cats that he needed.

Now onto the Shadowclan border, saving the Riverclan one for last.

"Skunkblaze! [ @gs29513 ] if you care, take out Seedheart [ @Xmas Bliss ] and Echopaw [ @Wings ] to the Shadowclan border." He had to admit he was kind of nervous sending the former Shadowclanner that close to her old clan but he trusted Skunkblaze to keep a steady eye on the youngster and if she couldn't be trusted on that border, who was to say she could be trusted at all?

"Robinpaw! [ @hope ] and Deadpaw [ @gs29513 ] you two are going with me to the Riverclan border!" It seemed to be the one where the patrols were failing the most often, so he would take care of it this time around.

Border patrols assigned he decided to just move directly into hunting patrols. These would be good and he was actually excited about the first one. He'd talked with a few of the queens and it seemed that they were willing to help out.

"Echowind! [ @Holly Jolly Trouble ] if you're able, take out Wishpool [ @gs29513 ] and Lionpaw [ @Mumble ] to hunt at Viper Rocks, be careful of any snakes." Hopefully this would give Lionpaw a little bit of experience to be out with some experienced queens because they might not be warriors currently but queens were often the fiercest of the clan members.

Then the next three he was planning to do quite quickly.

Sparkfrost nodded in agreement, and scanned the Clan for Featherfur. He hadn’t hunted much at the Swooping Cliffs but he was interested to see if the location would yield any good prey.

TigerFang smiled at the apprentice. "It looks like the meeting over." She mewed, watching the blurry cat jump off the Breezerock. She stood up but didn't move, she didn't want to leave LeafPaw alone by accident.

The dark brown tom just.. sat. he was incredibly bored. Ughhhh. he rolled a small pebble underneath his paw, watching it create divots in the powdery snow. With some precise movements, Bushpaw managed to make... a... circle... triangle... square? Okay, nope. No. Nope, that didn't happen.
