The young cat was stunned silent, cinderblaze was dead. One of her biggest inspirers was dead. Rage filled the young silver and white tabby as she gazed at the body of the deputy. It’s not fair! I’ll show them all not even the two legs will be spared of my hatred her long claws dug into the ground so deeply it hurt. Gritting her teeth she bit back a savage growl. Stupid twolegs they all deserve to die in hell. but what she couldn’t suppress were her tears which trailed down her cheeks. Ears drooped, and anger now fading into greif. She hadn’t even spoken to the deputy but they where still part of her homeclan. Starting to quiver she slowly lowered herself into a (loaf) sitting position. Burying her head into her chest.

Poisokit glanced out at the Shadowledge from the nursery. What's happening? They wondered, listening and watching.

The Enforcer padded below the Shadowledge as her mother called a Clan meeting. She interestedly noted Cinderblaze's dead body, but other than that, she didn't have much of a reaction. He hadn't been a good deputy, so Vixensnarl didn't feel the need to offer any respect or condolences. The only problem was that there weren't many good choices to replace him. Badgerscar and Brackenfire she had barely seen around, Ivysnake and Elmshadow were the medicine cats, and Cougarivy was a bit... out there. The brown tabby herself did not have the ambition to be deputy. She much preferred serving where she was and where the attention of the other Clans was not entirely on her.

The Toyger pricked his interest as the meeting was called and changed his course from the warriors' den to sit below the Shadowledge. He gave a brief glance at Cinderblaze's body, but not much more. He hadn't known the tom and didn't feel the need to grieve him.

Sorrelflare watched as the body of Cinderblaze was brought to the clearing by Dawnstar. They tail flicked as he looked at the body of the deputy. They growled softly, how could the deputy get captured by those things. He ignored the body as he went back to watching Dawnstar.


Foxcall eyes studied the dead body of Cinderblaze, bowing his head slightly as a goodbye but Foxcall was never close to the deputy. They wrapped their tail around their paws and looked back at Dawnstar.

Ratpaw heard Dawnstar call for a clan meeting and moved out to sit among his clanmates. His good eye moved around until he spotted the dead body of the deputy. He wasn't sure if he should be sad or disappointed? He hadn't been alive for very long and hadn't really heard any good things about the deputy. Ratpaw did though respect all that did care about Cinderblaze. He himself just couldn't bring himself to grieve. It did suck though that they lost a cat.

~ Raccoonpelt let out a small yawn walking out of the warriors den before hearing the news of the deputy. Raccoonpelt didnt exactly show much emotion, while yes it was sad Raccoonpelt himself didnt even know the deputy that much. Why mourn for a cat yourself barely interacted with? ~

~ Birchpaw had already been out and about before hearing the massive shadowclan leader call. The paw made her way over and saw what was the lifeless body of Cinderblaze. The deputy. Birchpaw didnt know how to react. Twoleg got him? ~

~ Daykit had been in the nursery, taking mental notes on how crowded. That was just a sign of him becoming a apprentice very very soon. The kit turned his head towards the sound of Dawnstar and tilted his head. The tom got up and paddded out of the nursery only to be greeted with the dead deputy. Twolegs got him? How are you going to let twolegs kill you. Now that was a death that seemed quite embarrasing in Daykits eyes. ~

~ Smokekit was once again sitting in the shadows of the nursery watching kits play before seeing one of the bigger ones, Daykit wasnt it? walk straight out of the nursery. Smokekit looked around to see if any queens would stop him, but none of them did. If Daykit can just walk out why cant Smokekit. Smokekit stood up and made his way over to the entrance and sat down hearing what the leader had to say. Turns out there was yet another death, but thankfully this time it wasn't someone he was related too. ~

Scorchedpaw woke at DawnStar's yowl and began to stretch and slowly creep out of the den. He saw a motionless body and squinted his eyes. What was a cat doing sleeping out here? Does he know that there are nests? Scorchedpaw trotted closer but stopped in his tracks.

"W-what?" he paused, speaking to himself as he heard the rest of Dawnstar's words.

His eyes began to tear as he went from confused to hurt. The deputy was... dead.

Beartooth glared at the apprentice. “Stop crying, you sound like a kitten not having it's dinner. It ain't a big deal, cats either live long enough to either to grace the Dark Forest or die trying. Anddd he kinda died trying but he was a deputy and so it's more disappointment of a high rank. He would of needed to gotten stronger to be able to enter the Dark Forest which lines up with what I said earlier.”
