Songkit cradled the golden acorn. She turned to the leader. "It matches your fur!"

Creepkit sighed. "Honestly, Songkit is so dumb," she complained.

Lionstar ushered the weird kit out of the burning camp. "Follow the adults to safety."

"Take the acorn!" Songkit sang. "You saved me!" This tom was beautiful, he deserved it!

Creepkit snarled. "NO! Why?!"

"Yeah, yeah, just get out of here!" Lionstar didn't care about the dumb acorn and he had more important things to do than deal with this babykit.

Stars, he hoped these ThunderClan cats were almost done dying because he didn't know how long he could last in the smoke and heat.

Lionstar broke into a fit of coughing as he prowled through the smokey clearing, most of his energy exhausted by just trying to find what few cats he could.

"If you can hear me," he tried again loudly between his struggles for breath, "I can help you-- but you need to say something so I can find you!"

Jaykit coughed on the smoke, trying to get out. "HELPPPP!" he screeched. "I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIEEEEEEEE!"

Rookbreeze leapt out of his nest the moment he heard crackling. Smoke, which had been faint, was now bellowing with wind as it spread. The tangy smell made his nose burn and eyes water, but he had to help his clan mates. ”Blazingpaw! The Tortie shook his head as he continued to push through the chaos, the smoke burning both his eyes and his lungs. Startled when the leader suddenly popped into his field of view. She began to babble and speak nonsence, his ears were ringing and he could barely understand her. As she shuffled off he looked on at her in confusion, it didn't look like she was helping anyone at all. Why the hell was he even trying?

Blazingpaw began to cough violently, it hurt to breathe...when he found the strength to. Here he was worried about them all and yet most of them were practically gone as it was. Except for one familiar voice. "Rookbreeze! Rookbreeze! Over here!" he called aloud. Hopping towards the tom until he bumped into him. But he didn't stop, instead he stumbled out of the blow, and kept going. "I don't really feel like dying because I cared for some ungrateful cats. If they're in here they're dead that's that let's leave." he wheezed as he began to make his way out of the camp.

[BEAR.]

Yeah, and Lionstar was too young to go deaf!

Huffing as he stalked over to the kitten, he reached down to grab Jaykit when movement out of the corner of his eye caught his attention.

"You there!" he called as he instead moved to push the baby over to the ThunderClan cat. "take this kit and get him out of here!"

The Apprentice stopped in his tracks as an unfamiliar voice rang in his hears. It was that annoying voice that was echoing through out the clearing, honestly, whoever this strange cat was, they're doing better than their idiot leader or even deputy.

Blazingpaw reached down and snagged Jaykit by the scruff "What are you stupid? Don't you know how to use your own legs?" he huffed at the kit. "Thanks weirdo." he said before ducking out of the camp. That tom looked familiar he just couldn't put his paw on it.
