With a huff of breath, the warrior wobbled his way forward. A warm, yet cautious grin was settled across his maw as he dipped his head politely to Ivypaw,

"Sorry I'm late-" Pebblepudge had clearly not been paying attention to the meeting at all and when he had been called for a new apprentice, he had been in a brief moment of shock. He'd been... slowly getting over the loss of Crabpaw - but hopefully he would put in his all for Ivypaw!

"Here, let's step away and discuss what you've already been training for!"

Antfost tapped her claws on the ground, "Well, let me ask you something. Why do you think they are ready?" she asked. Turning to her two kits, she mewed, "Do you two think you are ready to become apprentices? If you honestly think you can handle it, then I won't complain." she sighed, gazing at Floodkit and Icekit.

"Why do you think they're not ready?" Lionstar countered. "You haven't provided me any reason outside of "age" which has already been proven to be irrelevant. Unless your kit is sickly or injured, there's no reason why they shouldn't be given the opportunity to grow as an apprentice. Perhaps it'd be different if I were Icestar and into allowing any apprentice to fight at any old battle, but I have restrictions in place to ensure those who fight have enough training to handle themselves.

"Both of your kits showed promise in the battle game I held last night. They showed no signs of hindrance or hesitation, so why do you have an issue with your kits becoming apprentices? Both of them bounced forward. We all know Icekit is only uncertain because you're making a mountain out of a mole hill.

"Enlighten me, honey."

Antfrost straightened up, "Lionstar, my kits were just weaned off of milk. I think we can both agree that practically any kit would bound forward at the chance to become an apprentice, how exited they are says nothing about whether or not they could handle it." she mewed, a slight pleading tone in her voice, though she tried to hide it. Looking at her kits briefly, she mewed "All of my kits except for sootkit are barely developed." she mewed.

She stared at the golden leader, "As a queen, and their mother, I feel a responsibility for these kits." she mewed. "They don't have any injuries or health problems." she confirmed.

Icekit felt confused, his ears pinned to his head as he looked from the leader to his mother. @BILL. @Mumble

Lion-Star There age is very much relevant You wouldn't let a kit fight in a battle against a warrior would you because if they die your the one in charge and responsible for putting that kit out there, your the guilty for that , its like you feel guilt but, .I mean I know i'm not one to talk about kits and stuff but There not your kits are they there Ant-Frost's so she has all the right to say they arent ready to be apps and they super small and drown easily .Then Once again your the one who will be drowned in your own guilt.I mean its like you fell any emotion other than hate and anger ~Rain-Puddle finished what he said, he sighed and Sat back down~ @Mumble , @BILL.
