Well, Nightgaze didn't expect a Spiderstar takeover this meeting but Boss seemed a okay with it so she'd just watch with amused excitement. Chuckling under her breath, the small hornet scanned the crowd for reactions. This ought to be entertaining. Truthfully she couldn't wait to see how old spidey handled leadership, oh, and how the clan did as well.

Candescent green hues widened as Spiderthroat began with a rather unformal way of handing out apprentices. Giving all new apprentices to Bumblestar and Echobarley? This was already descending into chaos! Oh, but the next announcement was much, much more extreme: Apprentices would have to fight Bumblestar for their warriorhood?! Crazy! This may be one hysterical meeting but maybe a change of pace would lighten everyone up. Besides, it would be fun to watch the eager apprenticss of the clan challenge Boss! Lashing her tail in a frenzy, the black hornet watched on with anticipation.

Hehe. HehehehheeHEHEHHEHEHEE. Looks like Spiderdad was now Leaderdad, and what he said would go!! She adopted a crouch, ready to cause mayhem then.... Charge!!! The little cat came racing forward, attempting to reach Bumblestar and bat her with her forepaws. This is fighting, right?? She was pretty sure this was fighting. Bat bat, bat bat bat! She whacked the air aimlessly, hoping her paws would reach the leader. Well, the old leader!

Brrrr, cold cold cold!! The newly named Wolfhawk puffed up his fur as he made his way to the clearing. Bumble had called a meeting, and... wasn't on the stormcrest? A puzzled look came across the brown tripod's face before realizing the stone was iced over. Yeah, he wouldn't climb that either. But some daredevil did - and the daredevil in question was Spiderthroat. The medicine cat shook his head and looked around the clearing for a spot to sit. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted two brown-pelted cats near the entrance, one of which was waving at him. A wide grin came across Wolfhawk's face as he bounded over, making sure to keep his distance. "Muddy! Hollows!" he said happily, laying down near them but not too close. As much as the young medic wanted to cuddle with his former mentor, they were sick. He really hoped the prophecy cats came back soon, Wolfhawk was just done with this sick thing.

"Did bumble bring you here?" he asked the two, tilting his head to the side. It was very likely bumble brought them here, considering the fact that his new name was going to be announced. Wolfhawk's attention was diverted as Spiderthroat began speaking...made all kits apprentices and assigned bumble and echobarley as their mentor...and unleashed all the apprentices at the leader. The brown medicine cat couldn't help but start laughing, shaking his head. Poor bumblestar. They wondered how bumble was going to react to having an entire apprentice den unleashed on her. All they knew is he didn't want it to be him.

Alpinepaw got up when Spiderthroat started speaking. After Spiderthroat commanded the apprentices to get Bumblestar, her eyes started to sparkle with hope. She thought for several seconds and ran off as fast as she could into Bumblestar.

Chasmpaw knew she was just made an apprentice recently, and she did not know how to fight and hunt. Soon after Spiderthroat had finished speaking, Chasmpaw walked towards him. She meowed, "Spiderthroat! What would happen if an inexperienced apprentice like me keep Bumblestar down? It would be strange if such an apprentice becomes a warrior. Said warrior would be useless!"

Hollowpaw was not happy and Mudhound wasnt sure there was a thing they could do about it. They werent as close to the tom as they were Wolfpaw, though they were always friendly enough and sickness made unhappy cats out of them all. But further, here was only too moon older Wolfpaw unharmed by the plague and obviously learning far faster as was clear by why the two had been called to the camp today.

Mudhound had resolved to kind of just.... not draw attention to it. And maybe try and offer comfort when they got back to the quarantine camp.


Still it stung guilt through their pelt to be as overjoyed as they were when Wolfpaw approached knowing his poor mood. Didnt stop them though.


"Heya Wolfpaw!!!!! Ive missed you puppy you look well!"
They did not by comparison and even such a short sentence took a lot out of the tripod, sending them into a hacking fit they buried in a bush to not spray everyone with gross. But their tail was flying, clearing the ground of snow behind them and their grin was wide.


"Bumble-sis brought us both here to witness a ~special~ announcement! Congrats kiddo Im so so excited for you and Im sure your new names great! Hows the camp been doing, we get no news at all in the quarantine camp, whats the news?"
The silence was an understatement if anything, they didnt even know about Springlight in the sick camp. Maybe for the best, the news would devastate certain cats.

Fernwhisper was amused today for sure. Spiderthroat-star sending all the apprentices onto Bumblestar was a sight to see for sure, but nothing to worry about… but then again when Fernwhisper looked to the Stormcrest there were so so many apprentices… maybe she should worry, just a little.

Oakkit looked away from the other kits for a bit to look at what’s happening at the Stormcrest, if she were just a few moons older she could already be a warrior! Unless it’s a joke? Do adults joke?
