Applekit gave a somewhat scared and confused look only to look back up at Sparklight "mamma who was that?....they kinda scary-" she meowed and hid behind sparklights leg. However she looked over at the apprentice and gave a smile " hi! Thank you for...whatever you did..Wanna be friends?" she meowed. that apprentice is nice! I like them.

Adderfang who was defiantly keeping an eye on her friend, mainly out of curiosity for how long she'd keep sitting on Talonstones tail let out a groan and a sigh at her antics. "When I spoke of fools Doe I was hoping sympathise with you against them not find you included in that group, I saw that!" She grumbled reaching out a paw and attempting to lightly cuff her friend. "Why must you risk the temper of so many right now, as you said don't I have enough to stress about with windclan without also worrying that one day you will get rolled into a mud pit for your playful streak. Rrrrrgh, you!" She growled poking at the other molly more. Despite her grumbling though she was not outright scolding as she would do to any other, her tone was too reluctantly amused and her pokes too light for that.

The bulky warrior did however look up to try and share a sympathetic look with the poor trapped tom. They might both know Doetuft but at least she was able to walk away right now.

Ghosttail shrugged. So what if Irisflame was retiring? Sure, she was their best medicine cat and probably the best medicine cat but it wasn't the biggest deal. They had Ebonyfang! Ghosttail decisively pawed at the ground.

Wait then how come sparklight didn't have any friends? She mentally shrugged it off. Then she looked over at Thornscratch " what you think of that?...she bad kit! Should've followed the rules " she meowed only to stick her tongue out at the warrior .

Chickadeepaw.. Was killed? Nightshiver didn't know the apprentice, not really at least, but the news came as an unpleasant surprise none the less. Upon that she didn't listen much to the exchange between Dawnstar and the mentor, being caught up in her own mindscape of thoughts for a few moments. All she could really tell clearly, was that the leader was unhappy with the situation, which was understandable, but also the mentor.
The young warrior's attention was then caught again when Dawnstar went on. And what she said, made a point. There were some pelts around the clan she used to see quite often, that now, had completely vanished. As for the part about Icestar.. Nightsiver wasn't sure whether it had been normal or not, but raids had been frequent. Perhaps to frequent in her opinion. Some said it was led by pure pride, others claimed it was for the good of the clan. Which was it truly? Nightshiver would say her intentions were the good of the clan, but that she got blinded by pride. Though she never voiced those thoughts. And never would now, Icestar had long passed, they were residing within new times now.
Anything said about WindClan, the white molly somewhat expected. What she didn't expect, was Irisflames' retirement. At that news her eyes widened in surprise. Did she hear it correctly? Yes.. Nightshiver wasn't sure what to think of it, but only knew to respect her decision. and to respect Ebonyfang as the new medicine cat. She glanced at the tom. It felt somewhat strange to think Nightshiver was no more than a moon older- they had both been in the nursery during unusually calm times, even had their apprentice and warrior ceremony together.. Yet everything turned out so different. And somehow, they'd never even spoken a single word to each other.

Dawnstar rolled her eyes at Shadowheart's little outburst, she was going to ignore her for right this second, keeping the clan waiting for one insignificant speck of dirt was beneath her. Besides the kit had someone watching her, or so it looked like.

"Since we're on the subject, Ebonyfang [ @Siren Bliss ], you've inquired about a name change. I deny it. I don't see why you need your name changed, it is perfectly fine as is." Dawnstar waved away the topic like it was a flea in her pelt, barely worth her attention. Beyond the fact that it had been Icestar who had given him his current name, his reasoning for changing it was ridiculous. Who the hell changed their name to seem less intimidating. Did he forget what clan he resided in? If he wanted such a dumb new name, he could go play in one of the other soft clans.

Ebonyfang heard Dawnstar and he already knew he wouldn't be getting his name changed. He had changed his mind and forgot to tell her. Now that an ambition filled in his head he wanted to be intimidating. He wasn't here to be nice to everyone. That wasn't what a Shadowclan cat was about. It was his name and his name alone. Nobody would ever have the right of that name, but him.
