She eyed the bookshelf where she'd gotten back from and without moving her head. Maybe he just didn't want a friend at the moment. It was a new year, so maybe wanted alone time for the time being. Taking out a pencil and the eraser in the pencil tin, she easily got rid of the dark line across the page. It hardly let a noticeable mark. Forcing herself to focus, she leaned forward with her normal scowl that she has when concentrating, pencil on the paper. Multiple times could she be seen glancing from photo to paper and occassionally erasing. A couple times she muttered almost inaudibly.
Deciding the take a break after setting down her dulled pencil, having finished the sketching of the wings, Ariana relaxed her brow and leaned back in her chair. She slid down some in her seat, head resting on the back of it. She sighed softly, massaging the cramped hand she written with. Sometimes she particularly hated her OCD. When it came to drawing or painting, mainly, she had to try her hardest to get it perfect or it would drive her up the wall. If a feather looked a bit lopsided, she had to erase and fix it right. If a talon was shorter than in the photo, it would be changed. It was tiring, sometimes.
Looking around the room for any newcomers that she wouldn't have noticed, the familiar boy caught her eye almost immediately. It was the teenager from about fifteen minutes ago. She relaxed her head back in its previous resting place, eyes still casually staring at him as she smiled. Maybe she got to him. It was nice to seem him more relaxed than before. In fact, he looked rather happy and focused on the book he'd taken down. Closing her eyes, she breathed in the smell of old books. It always calmed her down and smelled strangely satisfying. Was it the same for him, she wondered?

After a while, Oliver started to get somewhat bored of the book, as he didn't exactly have a very long tension span, and often had to take a break from something so he could do something else, he looked up from his book, which was as good as he'd hoped. He saw the girl, sitting there drawing and blinked, peering at what she was doing. He watched her for maybe five minutes, relieved that she hadn't yet seen him, or at least he hoped she hadn't. He stuck his hand in his pocket, pulling out his wand. He didn't understand why he was even here really. He didn't believe that he was very magical in any way, but he guessed that somehow, he was. Shrugging, he stuck it back in his pocket and looked back down at his book. He looked over the page, realizing that it was the phoenix. He smiled very faintly, then slowly closed the book as to not make any noise.
He traced a finger over the delicately carved words in the red cover, wondering how long that must've taken. For him it probably would've been impossible, because he definitely didn't have the best handwriting in the world, although it probably wasn't the worst either. He examined ever detail of the cover, from each vain in the leather to ever curve of the letters, which he still couldn't read. The words inside were much simpler, and Oliver was very glad of that. He sighed, glancing quickly towards the blonde haired girl, who had kind of intrigued him, perhaps because she was a bit friendlier than anyone else he'd met.
He opened the book again and flipped through its contents, settling on the fourth page. He read over it, trying to decide whether or not he should pick a different page. He wasn't sure most people would understand, but he never read a book in order. He read it at random. For him, that made it easier to understand. Sometimes he would read a book from end to beginning, though why he did this was a mystery to him. So, he turned to the last page and began reading, and then he went backwards from there, careful not to skip anything. He caught her watching him and lowered his head so that she couldn't see his face, feeling suddenly uncomfortable. He shifted, realizing that it felt a bit odd, referring to her as "the girl".

(You changed your name o.o What's the occasion? It also looks familiar.)
Ariana sat up and stretched before opening her bag she had left at the table before leaving a short while ago. A minute of rummaging around in it brought good findings. She took out a writing notepad. Shoving the Pheonix drawing forward, she set it down on the wood. Taking a pencil, she wrote something down. It took a quick ten seconds. Ripping the page out carefully, she took out her wand and pointed it at it. It took a minute for her to remember the spell her mother had taught her. Waving her wand, mouth moving as she whispered the spell, the paper began to fold in on itself in intricate, difficult shapes. Finally, it was finished. A miniscule flash of light shot at the origami bird from her wand for the complete finish. She smiled in accomplishment.
The bird chirped quietly, hopped on the table to get its bearings, and then fluttered over in the shy boy's direction. It hovered over his own table before slowly, so as not to startle him, landed on the other side of his book. It tweeted at him, tilted its head, and then laid down on the table with a cute wiggle before it began to unravel. Once it opened, it revealed the words:
Sorry to intrude, but I was wondering what your name might be. If you don't mind telling me. This way we don't have to speak to disturb the peace. My name is Ariana of the Flightmere House. Once your done writing, just tap the note with your wand and it'll come back to me after changing back. If you write, that it.

With a flick of his wand, the breakfast floated over to Rubin and was placed in front of him. Rubin had shadows under his eyes, from sleep deprivation.

this poor baby)
Peter just sat on the couch, closing his eyes and falling asleep again since he was so tired. However, he woke up a few minutes later to loud noises on the TV, and slowly sat up to listen. It seemed as if Spongebob was playing. Peter used to love watching this show as a kid.

Re: Magia School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Rubin suddenly swept the mice into their box, and stormed outside. "I'll be back later." He called, locking the door behind him. He ran through the hills, tears beginning to stream down his cheeks. Why can't I do anything?! He mentally screamed, his wings sprouting out of his back. Rubin held back his scream of agony before launching into the air and flying over the trees. He watched the forest fly past as he spun through the air, his heart aching. It may be rough for Peter to be blind, but it was agonizing for Rubin. Seeing Peter in pain... He should have been there sooner. He should have brought Peter with him to the shed with him. He should have beat those b@$t@rd$ to a bloody pulp when he had the chance. He spun around, and landed back in front of the house. He went back inside, and went back to the table without even stopping to rest. He had to find the cure.

Peter nodded a little, curling up on the couch. "Okay, Be safe." He replied, resting his head on the pillow on the couch. To Peter's surprise, a few minutes later, he heard Rubin return. "Y-You're back so soon..? O-Okay, well I'll just be here if you need anything." He said softly.

With a soft growl, Rubin nodded and continued his work. His eyes were glowing dangerously.

Peter slowly stood up and walked into the kitchen, reaching out for Rubin. Once he found him, he had his hands on his shoulders, then slid them down and hugged Rubin. "I love you, Rubin.." He whispered, kissing his cheek, before pulling away and grabbing some of his breakfast, where he shuffled back into the living room and ate it. It took him a minute to do so, since food continued falling off his plate, and he would occasionally lose his fork.

Re: Magia School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Three Plot Ideas
+++++++
- Peter is walking to the Library to return a book. He goes in and turns the book in/ The librarian isn't there, but some strange man is there, and he quickly approaches Peter and tries to kidnap him. Peter manages to scream loud enough and fend off the intruder to run to Rubin's house, and jumps into the bed with him and demands attention and comfort in his cute way. Of course, the person who attempted kidnapping is mysteriously never seen again :3
- Someone creates a lie in the fact that Peter didn't really love him, and is just using him as a toy. This lie makes its way to Rubin, and Rubin is furious. He ends up hurting Peter, but not too badly, and then he breaks up with him. Once Peter heals up using some of his magic, he goes out to try and find Rubin, to tell him none of it was true. Then they could get back together.
- Whichever plot idea you want to try out
