The she-cat was very cold then something warm wrapped around her. She purred and wriggled towards the scent of milk. She began suckling, pressing her small front paws against her mother's belly for stability.

A small orange she-kit was watching from farther away, sadness filled her gaze. She missed her mother, who had been killed only a few days ago.

Pumaflare thought Maplebird’s plan could have flaws, but she nodded anyways. This really wasn’t what she was expecting when she came over to see what the cats were all doing, but it was a good idea, and probably WindClan’s best chance at survival. @Panda1440

Ravenkit stood frozen, Thunderkit? Whitekit? He panicked Dawnstar- just.. Hurt.. His sister's friend and he didn't wake up, how could Dawnstar be so cruel? He wanted to comfort Whitekit; he wanted to comfort his mother and get them back in the nursery himself. They needed help! Ravenkit was scared and close to tears. He shivered and backed away shrinking from the crowd he let out a tiny moan. He looked over to his mother, was she going to leave with Shadeclan? Would they really have to face this all? He was a kit! What could he do? He had to help his clan.. No that was.. A different cat's responsibility but was it? They weren't doing anything! He growled under his breath then crept forward to stand next to his mother and he mumbled something understandable for any cat at first and then he brought his voice. I-I'm sorry.. He whispered and then stared up at her hoping she would one day get why he was going to do what he would. He started sprinting through the crowd to the one of the edges of the camp disappearing through the gathering cats. What would he do? He could bust into Shadeclan! And he couldn't go back now. He slivered through some barriers keeping him from a bit of the way out of the camp but he stopped in his tracks and his paws stuck to the ground. Was he really making the right choice? Where would he really go? What would Whitekit say? She would be able to deal with it.. She was worrying about Thunderkit anyway. He breathed heavily, panicked. He frantically looked around for Dawnstar or another clanmate who would try to stop the soon to be apprentice kit. Even warriors shouldn't sneak off on their own. Dawnstar could start a war! Ravenkit remembered Ashfeather telling him stuff about battles and all, he heard about "Wars'' from other warriors though. Wars were bad and dangerous from what he had heard. Finally he slipped away out into the world determined to get out.

Sunhawk purred, pride in her chest as they all began to move and find their bearings.
She eventually notices the older kit watching sadly and looks up to her.
She motions for her to come over with a wave of her tail.
"If you're careful, you can come sit with me and watch them," she offered.
She wondered, for a moment, where her mother was.

Whitekit saw her brother sneaking away. She smirked and followed him too. When she caught up she tapped his shoulder with her tail and mewed quietly, You’ll need help. She grinned. @TheSnowyAnimal
