Their ears twitched at their explanation. Maybe the rabbits were not as dumb as some cats made them seem. Though, Flashpaw still disliked the idea of a sick cat just sitting in camp. It was icky. A grin broke out onto Aspen's face as she gave him an answer. Nice and clean, the way he liked 'em. "You're nice," he remarked slowly. "I like you. You're pretty, and fun. Also for once, I get to be better than somecat else! No offense. But my sister; Aurora, is so bossy, oh my God. She's super rude, but h e c c I love her. Y'know, you gotta love your siblings, amirite?"

This cat was cool. Aspen would chill with her, until the night grew darker and colder, and then he could make a dramatic entrance, cue the romantic moment, "don't leave me!" All that fun stuff.

Huh, what a surprise. So this unknown cat just wanted to talk. Maplebird knew that she shouldn't just let a loner on their territory- but she didn't want to attack him either. "Yeah- ... siblings can be pretty annoying." The she-cat's orange eyes glanced around the area. Once seeing that it was clear of both Shadowclan cats and her own clanmates, she turned her attention back to the loner. "What might your name be?"

Delight spilled its way onto Aspen's face, and he resisted the need for a huge, goddamn excited smile. He wasn't that successful, tho, and an impish grin spread it's way across his face. Siblings were definitely the worst! Also they could agree on something! "Yeah! Do you have any brothers? Or sisters? Or just siblings? I'd love to know!" He inched closer to the she-cat, resting his tail on her flanking and gently pushing her down to sit on the heather with him. "My name - " Aspen drew in a big breath " - is Aspen! You?

I love my name - I gave it to myself, it's sort of a tradition in our family to have names that start with a-. My mom's were named Acacia and Anguish. Anguish is cool, right? It's like, y'know, depression or something? IDK, just sounds awesome. And Acacia is some kinda nut.. I'm dumb sorryyy." Her Clan wasn't in the best shape? Aspen tilted his head, staring at the cat then began to nod, finally understanding. "Oh, righttt. Dawnstar has been terrorizing your Clan for the last couple of months, if I'm not mistaken?"

Chestnutfire turned her towards Pumpkinpaw, her eyes still bleary with sleep. So this little fluffball wanted to toss them out of their den? "I'm sure someone as cute as you couldn't hurt a bunch of elders," she coaxed, giving a meaningful glance to Butternutscorch. Somehow, Chestnut knew that Butternut would put up a fuss and most likely hurt the baby. She rolled her eyes and picked up her nest, giving Pumpkinpaw a stern look. "Fine, but they'd better not hurt any of the kits who come in here. And I'll be back each day to check that they're not ruining my den. Twilightstar and Birdfluff will be mad when they come back, you hear me?"

Wow- Aspen was really a true talker... "Uh, she's pretty cool, can be annoying I guess." His family 'a-name' thing seemed pretty interesting. "To be honest, I don't really know names of nuts..." And to the Dawnstar comment, Maplebird nodded her head. "No idea how you know that- well- ... yeah... our leader is captured-" The thought then accrued to the young warrior that this loner had no business in knowing clan events. After all, what if he was a spy or something? So she stays silent for another few awkward heartbeats.

He was nice, She thought as she licked her right paw, Very nice compared to other cats.
