Pumaflare watched the tom as he spoke. He really seemed nervous. Maybe he was actually serious about her. She fought off the urge to laugh. "Sure," she mewed sweetly. How a cat could like her was beyond her, or even why they would want to like her, but she didn't tell the tom that it was a mistake. Maybe she could use him to get the things she wanted, despite how horribly unimpressive he was. So she offered him a shy smile and stood up with a glint her dark green eyes. @Kai

"Yeah..." Featherlight seemed trustworthy enough, yet the young warrior knew she shouldn't let the plan get out to too many cats. Even so, Maplebird couldn't manage on her own. "I- I need your advice on a ongoing ... plan." she whispered quietly.

Slugstripe watched more and more cats fill into camp behind the huge one. He assumed she was the fierce leader Dawnstar that everyone had been taking about, but other than that issue, he wasn't to worried. If they got raided, that was a different story. If he got harmed, or if another one of the highranks was killed, then it was time to panic. But until then, he was basically at peace.

Intrigue captured his gaze even more as he focused on Maplebird, turning so that his head was closer to hear. Whatever it was, he got the feeling that any prying ShadowClan ears were not to hear.

"What do you say we try for a border patrol? Perhaps continue the discussion there...?" Away from prying ears he wanted to add, but didn't want their departure to be deemed suspicious enough to be followed. Featherlight gave a wave of his tail, motioning for the younger warrior to follow him out to a more private area.

sorry again for late and short reply ive been busy aaaaaa!!!

Robintail followed Crowtooth quietly down into the tunnels, keeping the tip of their nose close to the black tom's tail so that they wouldn't feel lost. Rather than feeling scared though, they felt more at home than anything.

They thought for a moment. "Well... if I was lost and I wanted to get back to the surface, I suppose I'd look for tunnels that slope upwards, and try to follow my scent trail back the way I came."

Maplebird followed the warrior out of camp, heart beating. Why in the silverpelt had she even thought about mentioning the plan so close to ShadowClanners?!? "My apologizes, I don't know what I was thinking... besides the point though- about this plan of mine. It's many based upon the tunnels... we need every resources we can get, and using the them gives us a place to store prey and hide. I've already discussed it with Crowtooth. But I'm a new warrior... and well- you have more experience..." Hopefully Featherlight understands

As they made their way out of camp, Featherlight took a quick surveillance of the area to make sure they hadn't been followed and wouldn't bump into any unwarranted ears. "I'm glad to see that you have a plan in the first place - a lot of us are just running around like headless rats," he replied, offering a brief look of gratitude before continuing. "The tunnels are a smart idea. Have you thought about moving the kits out to them? Their safety is a top priority, at least for me."

"Well- I still need to clean out the area Crowtooth said we could use... it's currently filled with rabbit skulls. Its also very dark, so the kits will need to stay close to the queens. We can't have them go exploring and hurt themselves... " There was still so much to do, and how long until ShadowClan discovered the tunnels?

Nodding at her report of the current status of the tunnels, Featherlight began to pick up his pace a bit, urgency lacing each step he took. He didn't want to run so as to now draw attention to himself, but he wanted to hurry up and complete this - the kits needed to be moved as quick as possible.

"Lead the way, Maplebird. Let's try to clear out as much as we can while there's still light in the sky."

Making her way over to the entrance at the adder rocks, Maplebird stopped briefly to make sure the tom was still behind her. "It's really dark... so stay close..." she whispered to Featherlight. "Ready?"
