Finally. Blossomflame had waited for kits for a while now but now she could feel them clearly. She was expecting. "So things go as planed then." Of course she would have to tell him. She knew her so called "Mate" didn't care much for her, just the kits she had. They weren't really mates either, it was more like a deal they had struck, and they were only bound by the mutual agreement of that, rather than any kind of feelings. And he seemed to think rather highly of himself, and treated being his mate as the highest honor someone could get. And not something she was blessed with apparently.

Ah there. She could spot him now. Rising up on her paws she moved up to him and blinked calmly, not bothering to act like she had feelings for him. "We need to talk."

The large tom was just returning from his duties for the day when he heard and saw Blossomflame approach him. His ears pricked at her words. Was Starclan finally giving him some luck with this. "About the kits I presume" His voice was calm as he spoke. It was unlikely she wanted to discuss anything else, they didn't really waste time on small talk or anything else. The two didn't really care for each other either, it was merely an agreement that benefited them both. He would get more kits who would hopefully become a good as his daughter had, and hopefully better than Bramblekit, and she'd get to be a part of his family, if not fully then at least through his kits. Win-Win in his opinion.

He wondered what names would fit. He couldn't name any of them Ivykit or Bramblekit because of his previous litter, and not Shadekit or Rainkit because of his own name and past names.

Blossomflame blinked slowly, slightly annoyed at his apparent disinterest, caring only about the kits and already talking about them. She stuffed a sigh before speaking. "Yes, what else would I come to talk about. Of course I can't tell how many there are but I know I'm, expecting." She wasn't all that exited over kits, but it was a part of their deal and that was something she was happy with. However much she didn't like Shadestorm, he was still the deputy, he had a decent amount of power n Shadowclan. And even if she was only the father of his kits, she would certainly give her some boosts here and there. She would just have to make sure the kits survived, and became good enough for the deputy's liking.

She wondered if he would prefer toms or she-cats. Not that she would be able to pick her kits gender, but she'd at least know who to focus most on and put most effort into. She guessed he'd prefer toms since he was one, but than again he seemed to like his daughter more than his son, who had left the clan along with Shadestorm's former mate. "How many kits do you think it'd be, how many toms... she-kits.." She was trying to casually nudge him in the direction of telling her.

As patient as she pretended to be, Juniperpaw couldn't sit still. It had been a few seconds since her call, yet she was already prepared to leave. She had better things to do then wait around for someone to react. Things like hunting or... she blinked hard, frustrated at the idea that she couldn't think of anything. It didn't matter though. All that mattered was that she could stop standing around lazily and leave. She backed away slowly, waiting to see if anyone would give a reaction. As much as she hated the idea, she really didn't have anything to do, and she didn't feel like asking anyone else to train her. She stopped as a figure raised their head. She knew it was Splotchleaf. Not because no one else had responded, but because she was Juniperpaw, and that made her awesome.ut maybe the fact that he was the only one who had reacted and still hadn't yelled at her influenced that. She narrowed her eyes as he walked past her, turning to follow him. A small thought bumped against her mind, begging to be let in. But she didn't like it, so she wouldn't acknowledge it. As they continued walking out and into the woodlands, she let it enter her mind. It was too quiet for her liking. They needed a conversation starter, even if it was one she didn't really like. 'Why haven't we done any training? Is it because you forgot about me? I mean, that's not possible, I'm much too important." Now that she had started, there was no stopping. "What are we going to do today? Hunting? Battle training? What? Why am I asking all the questions?"

Dovekit shrugs, having a tired expression on her face. She did not seem excited at all about becoming an apprentice. "I don't know," she replied quietly. "I hope Batsong will be let back in when I do though..." Sighing, she shakes her head and looks at Pigeonpaw, tiling her head curiously. "What about you?" she asks, a bit more interest in her voice and her eyes glowed curiously. "Who's your mentor? Is it someone strong?"

Pigeonpaw cocked her head. Her sister didn't seem...happy. Batsong again. But then again, Dovekit wouldn't have the same bitterness towards their father, she was with him this whole time. Pigeonpaw just shrugged and moved on to Dovekit's questions. "I love being an apprentice! I can do so much more than we could as kits! And my mentor is Cougarivy. She's so much fun and she's making me so much stronger. We got to do battle training on my very first day while we were out exploring the territory! I'm going to be the very best apprentice so I can be the strongest warrior so then..." She'd gone over it so many times in her mind she'd nearly said it aloud. The reason she needed to prove herself, even more than anybody else in the clan. She swallowed and looked down at her paws. "Do you ever wonder about our family? Like why our father raised us while all the other kits were raised by their mothers? And other kits' fathers visited them but we never had another parent visit us. Have you ever wondered why we're different?"

"I'm good!" she said. Then she thought maybe they could go hunting together or something to get rid of their boredom. "Hey, do you want to go hunting? I think the prey pile is still pretty low."

"That's good." Stormfire murmured softly, "Sure sure, why not?" the tom got to his paws and started padding towards the entrance (and exit) "Last one out is a rotten mouse!" he yelled, before starting running towards the exit-entrance
