A pale, ginger tabby queen padded to the leaders den, where she knew Twilightstar was. But she was walking slowly, trying her best to stall the time. The hour had come, no more secrets, no more pains.
Miststone stopped, her mind racing. She had memorized a small speech she was going to say, and her only hope was that the Windclan leader would understand. Her kits would be here soon, she had to do it for them. Glancing down at her swollen belly, the queen sighed.
Closing her eyes, she muttered, ¨Starclan, be with me.¨ Then, gathering up as much courage she could, Miststone poked her head in.
¨T-twilightstar, may... may I speak to you? I have a-a few things I would like to tell y-you.¨ She hated how her voice trembled. Never before had she cowered like that.

Omenscratch flinched when he saw her. What on earth had happened while he was trapped in a kennel in a pound. He didn't want to say anything. He was never the cat to come across as rude, especially not to his leader. "Two-legs were on shadowclan territory looking for cats while I was hunting on our side of the border. They managed to snatch me up. They took me to a place with silver shiby thibgs we were foced to stay in.", meowed Omenscratch. He shivered at the thought of the two-legs. He would never let one touch him ever again.
