"I don't know what you mean, I'd be a great medicine cat." Curltuft responded, grinning a little as she covered the rest of the she-cat's wound with the cobwebs. "That should be fine..." She muttered. The she-cat paused for a moment before standing up, gaze shifted away from the apprentice.

"I'm sorry." She said quietly, claws digging into the den floor, and for once she didn't seem creepily excited or happy. She took a breath, looking back down at Sablepaw. "Get some rest." She meowed, before turning to leave.

she sighed heavily. “yeah whatever.. thanks Curltuft’’ Sablepaw mumbled, rolling over in her nest and closing her eyes and trying not to think about horses. Horses brought up bad memories and she was still shaken by her mentor using that against her. also the weirdness of Curltuft not acting strange for once also had shaken her.

Rainpaw had crouched, paws rooted in the clearing for stars no how long. Blood from her bestfriends broke body had seeped into her pelt. It was sticky and bone chilling. Yet, her hollow gaze just couldn't move. She didn't know what to do. He's dead... Littlepaw, he's dead. The pitch black apprentice reminded herself. The idea was so foreign to her. He was gone, forever kind of gone. Not coming back, ever. A big bird throwing him to the ground and- and killing him...

After what felt like moons the young molly pried herself from her best friend's body. Her paws wobblily as she stood and attempted to move. Blood, already partially dried, left paw prints and splotches on the ground. She had to tell someone. Rainpaw really wasn't sure who. Everyone she actually knew was either dying or disappearing.
Her blooded paws lead her to the leaders den, where she paused, unsure what to do. Rainpaw's yellow eyes peered into the dark. The light of the sunset behind her making the gaping hole in the Breeezerock look strange. "Twilightstar...? Rainpaw choked out, her voice horse and tight. Clearing her throat, the molly practically stumbled into the den. "Twilightstar," She repeated. "Uhh I- mm he- Lil..." Rainpaw stuttered, tears returning to her eyes. Her body tense and shaky at the same time. "Littlepaw... he- he... err... he-" She paused sniffling and rubbing her face. "He's dead!" The messy looking apprentice exclaimed, ears pinning back to her skull.
"Littlepaw... h-he was, was... was taken... a hawk..? gr-grabbed him and- and th-threw him.. to the ground-... He... he died..." Rainpaw sobbed, squeezing her eyes shut as if she would see it again if she had them open. She shook, trembled, unable to control herself. Rainpaw couldn't even tell which way was up, her mind froze and racing all at once. She just couldn't figure out what to do. Maybe Twilightstar would, but the apprentice really didn't consider that.

The queen sighed. She was tired, and should probably rest.
Yeah. I should sleep, she thought wearily. She lay down on a nest and closed her eyes.

The tom looked up at the elder's blue eyes. "Yes please,,," he meowed quietly. I wonder what they'll share- maybe,,, how we defeated a enemy in battle,,, wait,, but battle's aren't good- maybe- ... Ratkit stayed silent, awaiting the story.
