He let out a laugh " you didnt poison Anyone , Catmint makes us goofy as a side affect - the kits fine . " he smiled . Although if this was her reaction to if she accidentally poisoned someone ...they were in big trouble."for actual poison....do not and I repeat do not, go anywhere near Death berries...they are poison and will kill anyone in an instant " he explained .

Frostbreeze glanced at Lionwhisker,” How long does it last, I don’t think the mother will be happy if I send her to her mother like this. Would a poppyseed fix this? What even is catnip for...I just remember someone giving me it when I was little and I was sick.” she meowed. It probably was bad that she was giving a kit random herbs and not asking Lionwhisker what the proper treatment for things are.

"Catmint is used for Green cough, which thankfully we've not had in a long while " he answered only to roll his eyes with a smile. "Just give it time to wear off, sometimes time is the best medicine . And just admit that you goofed up to the mother and you'll be fine. Its just a laughing fit " he added in. How hard could it be? Its not like ever mother is so...overdramatic. They'll understand . Although he was curious .. He leaned in closer "what were you trying to do now? I can give you some pointers..." don't be a control freak don't be a control freak...

Frostbreeze flicked her tail,” the kit said her throat hurt a bit, so I was trying to find something to fix her throat, I know honey helps, but I don’t have honey and don’t want to get stung to get honey...so I took a guess with the herbs.” she meowed. Maybe something was actually better than catmint, she didn’t like the kit acting strange at all.

Oh boy

He forced a grin and shrugged "why don't you use the sticks that you love so much and get the honey that way? Or is it that you don't want to hurt your teeth? " he suggested . Its what most medicine cats did, and it worked pretty well..most of the time they used sticks if they didn't want to get their paws dirty. "Have an apprentice get some honey for you or something ... " he added then sighed "yeah you need a lot more lessons .." right now he was silently wishing for condorpaw to come back..

"There's no trouble in asking for help, it makes lazy apprentices useful " he meowed a little dumbfounded . Its like any cat asking for help.. No different than buckstar asking for help either. Then he froze ...A few emotions were going through his head. Shock and anger. "There is no way in the DARKFOREST! I will be your helper! " he hissed with his ears pinned. He couldn't keep it in...it had to be let out.
"First of all I already was a medicine cat, its STUPID to put an already was med cat as an apprentice . And one that didn't want to be one anymore! Are you even thinking right now!" he growled loudly . His emerald green eyes now solid sharp pieces of jade.

Shaking out his pelt the warrior "I'm not really a mentor since I'm A warrior now...think of me as your advisor. But the knowledge is really a matter of life and death that can't be ignored " he meowed in a calmer tone.

It appeared many cats believed she was going to cause them to die, so maybe she wouldn’t appear lonely if they thought Lionwhisker was there to supervise though she’d order him to just nap unless she needed help.

This warrior was strange. He didn't want to fight really, but... then he agreed! "Yes! Fights! This will be fun! FUN FUN FUN!" Ever since her incessant repeating of the word fire, as in 'fire fire fire' she'd gotten a certain fondness for repeating a word three times. It kind of... it kind of helped her get the point across better! Like at least cats listened if she did so it proved to her at least that it worked and Swallowkit let a bright wide smile graze her maw. This was fun! Interesting, fun and what she would classify as interesting. Could Buckstar maybe skip the entire apprenticeship thing when she proved she could beat one of his warriors? Like... that was the sign of a good warrior right? At least Swallowkit believed that and so she just, smiled. "I can beat you up!" What was the move that Corm had taught her? He'd taught her some cool move. OH! OH! She remembered now and backed a way a bit as she squared up, rump in the air as she wriggled it and then she ran for him, aiming to spring up on his leg and use that to springboard herself onto his back. She just had to get on his back.
