Her ears twitched once more in annoyance as she pieced together what he had said. A grin inched across her face in recognition. "So you snuck out of camp, huh?" If he wasn't going to respect her, she might as well have fun with it. Silentstorm's blue eyes gazed into his, "Had any trouble sleeping recently?" It was a strange question, but she knew the answer she wanted. And she wanted to get it. Silentstorm didn't care if they were interrupting the meeting. They still hadn't touched noses. Wasn't that against tradition?

Silentstorm smiled, "Don't worry. He's my first too." Her smiled soured as she thought about him. All her thoughts compiled in her head. He was rude, obnoxious, and disrespectful. And like so many others, he underestimated her because of her hearing. That wasn't her fault! "I could really use your help."
