Beechpaw's ears perked as he sister approached, she smiled, bowing her head in greeting "Hey Sagepaw! How's it going?" The golden tabby pointed she-cat's whiskers twitched as she hummed softly.

She hadn't told her sister the news, would now be a bad time

"I think this is it-" She said, giving an ominous pause before continuing "Like- my warrior ceremony- Dandelionmane completed my assessment the other day- I think this might be THE meeting" She said, practically bouncing.

Sagepaw's jaw dropped, and she stared at her sister in shock. Y-y-y... She could barely get out her words. Your w-warrior ceremony? She croaked, tipping her head. She hadn't done any training yet, and there was Beechpaw, ready to get her warrior name. While she wanted to be happy for her sister, she felt a surge of jealousy. I... Uh... That's great, Beechpaw! She smiled halfheartedly, trying her best to sound genuine.

Thankfully the absence of a meeting in the past moon hadn't made cats forget what they were for. Bumblestar cleared her throat and rolled her shoulders, launching into things.

"Alright, reassignments first. Orangepaw, Dragonflycliff. Flamepaw, Raggedear. Cougarpaw, Snakefang. Sagepaw, Burnedbark. Poppypaw, Smokefang. Mistlepaw, Hickorysmoke. Fleapaw, per your request to change mentors, you're swappin' to Tigerpelt. Quackpaw, since Mudhound's been buggin' me about it, I'm swapping you over to 'em from Brackenclaw. Smokepaw, Flintclaw. Cloudedpaw, Dandelionmane."

She was... ninety-percent sure that was all of them. Hopefully. Hopefully she also had enough warriors available to mentor the upcoming swarm of new apprentices.

"Drizzlekit, Hollykit, Rosekit, Honeykit, Oakkit, Mallowkit, Ivykit, Eveningkit, Cicadakit, Lavenderkit, Frostkit, Specklekit, Ghostkit - all of you come up here so I can get your apprentice ceremonies done. If I don't see you, I'm skippin' you." She was banking on Hollykit actually showing this time. This was, what, the third or fourth time she'd called the kit up? If she was a no-show yet again, Bumblestar was going to hunt her down and find out the reason.

he was shuffling his paws in both anticipation and anxiety. he was finally going to be an apprentice alongside his siblings. rose dropped feathers in front of him, "oooh yeah! papa come help me put them in my fur!"

his smile dropped for a moment. "afterwards... can you take us to pops- poppy? we've kept him waiting for too long." his ears perked- his name was called! he was going to be an apprentice!

he padded forward, his blue eyes gazing up towards bumblestar, blue gaze glinting with pride.

Pineblossom watched from the outskirts as apprentices were reassigned, and new kits were called up to be assigned mentors. Her ears perked at a familiar name being called, Burnedbark. The young tom was getting his first apprentice. Sagepaw was reassigned to him. Pineblossom gave the tom a nod, unsure if he had noticed or not.
