cinderpaw got up and shook off im not small and agile! she hissed as she went to go kick her back legs to copy the move. nobody called her small! she really wasnt liking her mentor

It was hard to fall asleep after she settled into her own nest. She cast a longing look in Bristlethorn's direction, mewing a soft good night as she laid down her head. Her eyes closed, but all she could see was his handsome face swimming behind her eyelids, and dancing into her dreams.

a loud HUFF of annoyance left Wildpaw as he shot a glare up at at her, grumbling and rumbling at the silly joke. He rolled over onto his back, wiggling his sticky paw up at her. "cleaaaan meeee!" The apprentice giggled, "Pretty please?"

His request startled her, and her ears shot back in alarm. "Clean you? You're an- Oh fine. But from now on, you gotta start putting in some real effort to listen to me, deal?" She grumbled in annoyance. He was such a pain sometimes! Looking around, she nudged him to follow her to the side of the clearing.

Appleshine emerged from the warrior's den, and she felt less refreshed than she usually did. She had slept fitfully, slowly losing her mind trying to push Bristlethorn from it. She padded to the apprentice's den and poked her head in, calling for Echopaw. "Hello? Echopaw? We're going to tour the territory today, so come on!" She chuckled and withdrew, padding over to the fresh-kill pile. She was still full from the squirrel she had shared with Bristlethorn last night, and her belly was too tense to eat anything else. Oh well, that meant she could at least tidy her fur a bit before heading out.

Appleshine found a nice shady spot near the camp entrance and settled down to wash, grazing her tongue over her shoulder as she waited. Her thoughts began to drift, wondering if Bristlethorn would still want to join her and Echopaw for the day.

Silentstorm sighed, they were going to need a talk about the warrior code and that Twilightstar was his leader, not Frogfang. She sat down next to him and curled her tail over her grey-furred paws. Silentstorm leaned over and whispered, "Shut up, and listen," in his ear. She didn't want to seem too disrespectful to Twilightstar. Not if they were going to be friends.

Silentstorm nodded her agreement and sat down, "Who knows, maybe we'll have a meeting tomorrow where you could get your own apprentice." She emphasized the own. "You could probably ask Twilightstar for one of the kits anyways."

Skyleaf looked at Rosetail. "Do you want to go hunting?" she asked. Maybe that would help fight her boredom. Of course, she wasn't a bored kit anymore, but it was boring to go hunting alone.
