Morningblue inwardly flinched just the tiniest bit in surprise at the she-cat's reply and looked back down at the freshkill. After a moments hesitation, he took a bite. As soon as that first morsel touched his toungue, the tom abruptly felt his control slip and he began to scarf down the meal hungrily. When it was finished, he licked his lips clean and gasped closed his eyes in relief at finally numbing that hungry ache that had been with him for days. When he opened his eyes, there was Rosebelly. A little embarrassed by his lack of dignity, he wiped his face with his paw. "Thanks. I needed that."

Autumn's tail flicked upon finally finding a juniper bush, lifting her head and delicately plucking a berry, chewing and swallowing it with a bit of a face before swiping her tongue along her muzzle. She scented the air then, catching prey-scent, though it was overlaid with cat. Her stomach rumbled, and her ears drew back in indecision.

Finally, after a long moment of debate, she cautiously approached, careful to stay hidden and downwind until she could spy Morningblue and Rosebelly, watching them silently for a minute, though the rustling undergrowth likely more than gave away her approach and hiding spot - stealthy Clan cat she was not.

Halfkit jumped up, startled despite the cats gentle tone. He slowly turned around, fluffing up his fur, hissing slightly. The kit tried to back up, but quickly fell over. He sniffed, trying to figure out which clan this cat came from. He had no idea what territory he was in, and was almost frozen with fear. "Who are you?! Are you gonna kill me?! Wisteriapaw jumped back, startled, her tabby fur fluffing up. Why was the kit so wary of her? What had she done? Had she said something wrong? Her amber eyes narrowed and she scrutinized the kit, not able to trace any Clan scent on him. Suddenly worried, the molly narrowed her eyes and stepped forward, even though she towered over the kitten. "Where are you from? Who are you?" Asked Wisteria in fear. Was there rogues around? She looked up, her ears pricking erect, imagining vicious cats leaping out of the bushes at any moment. She narrowed her eyes.

Rosebelly smiled softly at her companion. She was happy he ate, messily or not. "I'm just a friend looking out for a friend," she replied. Everyone needs self-care. Let's keep hunting." The ginger she-cat cleaned the dirt from between her toes before standing up. Recently she had gotten the mud out of her paws, but since she dug up that mole, the dirt returned. Rosebelly stretched and bounded ahead. Then, she turned and waited for Morningblue.

Morningblue felt a warmth spread over him. It was nice to have a friend. Someone to joke with and spend time with, and just enjoy their time together. Relieved, he got to his feet and followed after Rosebelly. "Any signs of prey, mighty patrol leader?" he meowed, his whiskers twitching and his mood much improved.

Autumn's ears flicked forward before she scrunched deeper into cover, wincing as the bracken scraped at the rat bite on her flank. She watched and listened to the two cats, thinking to herself that they seemed an alright sort, but she stayed hidden and waited for them to pass before creeping out of hiding, following her nose toward the mingled scent of many cats, though she stayed hidden as best she could, wincing from time to time as she put too much weight on her injured paw.

Were she able to continue unseen and unchallenged, she would amble right into the ThunderClan Clearing.

Morningblue watched with some intrigue at Rosebelly's concentration as she hunted. His ears perked up as he loud plopping sound in the underbrush and felt more than saw Rosebelly tense and search for the source of the sound. He noticed the massive frog at the same moment Rosebelly gave the signal to crouch. Great Starclan, that thing is huge. He eyed the creature from their place about two fox lengths away. The creature had green skin that seemed to glisten, and a faded yellow color around its mouth. He had never seen a frog quite like this size or color before. A worry crept into his mind about whether they could be sure it was safe to eat. He was just about to whisper his concern to his companion when all at once, a large bubble appeared under the frog's chin and it loosed a loud, sputtering yowl.
