Silentstorms eyes narrowed with jealousy. Snakepaw actually listened to the other cat? Go figure. She was quiet and never talked to him about him doing things wrong. Of course, he'd prefer her. Well, he never did anything wrong. "Listen. We need to find more prey. If this is all we bring back, that'll be embarrassing."

Ashnose pawed at the ground nervously.
"Well, I know I haven't been a member of the Clan that long, or a Warrior, but I was wondering if I could gain an apprentice," she mewed. "I think it would help prove my loyalty to the other cats." @Pheasantflight

Ashnose's ears perked. She'd be on a patrol? Did the other cats trust her that much? She didn't know why they would, but she guessed she was pleased. She looked around for the other cats in the boarder patrol with her. @Cherry_Jay

Miststone nodded. She only had three kits, so she gently nudged the other two toward Ashfeather. "Here then."
The queen's attitude had abruptly changed. Now, she was much quieter, and much, much less annoyed. She allowed the kits to suckle on her, she wasn't used to the feeling nowadays.

Brindlefern sighed. Time to explain that... "I know I've been gone for a little while, and I shouldn't have been. I shouldn't even have been in the first time. But, I think my kits are coming soon. So, when I went for a walk, I started feeling the pain, and dropped unconcious. Again." she meowed.

Ryecloud had to leave camp for a while. She just wanted to take a peaceful walk without the clutter and craziness of camp surrounding her.

She looked around but saw no cats, just an open field with nothing disrupting her. She gave a sigh of relief and sat down. The breeze ruffled her fur, but she didn't mind. She layed down and soaked in some sunlight from the rays coming down.

Appleshine trotted across the moorland until they came to the training moor. The stunt at Adder Rocks had bothered her. Echopaw had been very, very lucky to have reacted so quickly, but if she had placed one paw wrong, or leaped wrong, she would have been dead.

"Alright, we're here," She mewed to Echopaw, looking over her shoulder for her apprentice. "We'll start with the basics."

Echopaw trotted up beside her, excited for her first day of training. Her tail flicked around and her eyes shone with excitement. “What are we going to train with first? Hunting? Fighting?” She said eagerly.

"Good question!" Appleshine purred. "Both fighting and hunting starts with one thing; The hunting crouch." As she said, she slipped smoothly into the crouch, her paws tucked under her and her back legs poised for a spring. "The crouch is a great start for any pounce. Make sure your weight is distributed evenly on all four paws, and keep your tail handy for balance." She instructed, watching Echopaw carefully.

Echopaw nodded, and did her best to mimic Appleshine. She tucked her front paws under her body and tried to mimic the way Appleshine had readied her back legs to spring. She held her tail out for balance, and narrowed her eyes in concentration, hoping she was doing it right.
