Her whiskers twitched with a barely held back snort at Twilightstar's comment. No wounds? She thought back to the absolute bloodbath she had discovered. Perhaps her leader was only thinking of vulture inflicted wounds, but she seemed to be forgetting a potentially much more dangerous kind. The mental ones. While Peachfrost couldn't apply special herbs to the lilac molly's head and magically heal the trauma that was undoubtedly inflicted, she would do her best to take away as much pain as possible.

"Respectfully, I was going to check you out whether you wanted me to or not." She gave a soft smile as she began to sniff around her body, looking for any signs of blood or infection. Other than a few cuts and bruises here and there, she was actually pretty good. She was going to need a pretty good cleaning though. Something Peachfrost knew her leader could figure out without having to be told in front of the other queens. Woah. Was Twilightstar a queen now? When just yesterday not a soul in Windclan knew of the kits at all. Not even their mother!

"You seem to be healthy enough to nurse, if you ever need any help producing milk you can always come to me." She meowed, gaze sweeping over to the two queens as well. The offer was meant for all of them. "Before we get to all that, I want you to take these." A large paw pushed two poppy seeds.

She paused for a moment, waiting for her leader to lap up the herbs. "Listen. You have no need to apologize. If anything, I'm the one who needs to." Her eyes left Twilightstar's single one, instead choosing to look at her own paws. "I'm the cat Starclan trusted for this exact reason. I should have been able to tell, somehow or another. I'm sorry I wasn't there for the birth of these adorable little munchkins." She turned her gaze towards the four kits, affection sparkling in her eyes. "You did a really good job Twi. I'm proud of you."

Turning back, fondness for the family overshadowing the guilt that still pricked at her pelt, she lowered her head. Only Twilightstar could hear this next part. "And listen... I don't know too much yet, still learning everything and all that but... you've been through a lot. You've got the whole clan and now these little ones looking up to you. I'm sure that isn't easy. If you ever need someone to talk to. I'm always here." She left it at that. No use in overwhelming the overwhelmed right?

"Alright." Skyleaf meowed to Peachfrost. She wasn't exactly happy with just staying here, but it'd have to be fine for now. She looked at Foxpaw. "Ah, I don't exactly want to be three legged. Yes, please." the warrior replied to the question about prey, casting a glance at Peachfrost to see is she would want something too. "Foxpaw. You'll need another cat to train you while I can't." It had been a bit hard to say that, as Skyleaf loved training with Foxpaw and Dustypaw. But it had to be said, as she wasn't in any state to train apprentices right now.

"Maybe you can ask some warriors to help you train a bit? But of course I'll train you again when I'm able to." she meowed, with a glance at her injured leg, and a sigh. It was pretty annoying, not even being able to walk. Soon you'll be abke again. Skyleaf tried to sooth herself.

Cloversplash, Halfmask, and Goosehowl all approached the highrock in a loose group, Hawlfmask soon making their way toward Crowspeck while Goosehowl gravitated toward Peachfrost. New apprentices already!

The black she-kit was vaguely aware of all the warm mounds of soft stuff surrounding her, but frankly? She didnt really care. She was also aware of the smaller, more her-sized bodies squeezed against her sides, and that she did mind. The newly-named Midnightkit let out as loud of a mewl that she could muster and began to wildly kick and flail around, trying to get her siblings away from her. This was her space, not theirs! Why did they even think they could steal her food like that? Her lips pulled back into a frankly adorable and non-threatening snarl, the teeth that would normally be on display for an older cat absent from her mouth.

Bunnypaw gave a nervous nod it made sense what the warrior was doing, but for some reason she didn’t believe she could do it,” I’ll try I guess?” she didn’t have much faith in this, but she hoped she could do it.
