Butterflykit watched as a bigger cat had come over and asked to play with her.

She watched as the warrior tried to catch the pretty bug, failed, and pouted.
She couldn't help but giggle a little, finding it funny to see an older cat acting like that.

"Sure!" She said after she went after the bug again "Do you know what it is?"

Cypress’paw yawned. The Greenleaf sun warmed his pelt comfortingly as he stretched out in its hot rays. It felt good being lazy, lying here in the sun, peace and quiet. He layed his head on his paws happily.

The tom sat within the clearing, He didn't know what to do as of right now, he wasn't sent on patrol, or anything like that. so he relaxed. Though it's not something he's used to, it's nice for once. "Well I 'spose it could be worse." he mews to himself. he was shaking some dust off his long ginger pelt. The tom was a large cat, though clumsy by all means he was very thankful when people spoke to him. he smiled to himself as he gazed around. The tom paws at the ground trying to keep himself distracted a bit. Letting out a sigh the tom wrapped his tail around his body and remained silent gazing around before settling on the clouds. he liked the clouds. they can come in so many shapes. chuckling to himself he just smiles and remains fixated on them for now.

Cypress’paw

Cypress’paw woke with a start. He must have fallen asleep! His pelt burned like fire, and he could feel it sticky with sweat. He desperately half walked - half dragged himself into the shade behind the apprentices den, looking around cautiously, hoping no-one saw that. How embarrassing. He hurried off into the den to give himself a thorough wash.

Alpinepaw was too close to the plant for comfort and painfully walked away to a far enough distance. She slowly sat down. Thankfully, there were no seeds near her rear end. Most of the pain was in her paws, and the rest of it in her nose. She sat still for Wolfhive to help her.

"Jeeze, you really did a number on yourself."

Wolfhive continued to pluck out the burrs until they all were gone, collected in a neat little pile. Wolfhive then dug a little hole to bury them in; carrying them outside if camp would be kinda impractical anyway and he figured as long as CERTAIN CATS didn't start digging up camp again, they wouldn't go anywhere.

Then he froze, starring at the bayberry bush.

Before, Wolfhive hadn't gotten a clear look at it, dismissing it for juniper berries. These were not juniper.

Juniper's color was lively in comparison - these were frosted, pale as if sick. He didn't know what these were, but his survival instinct told him it was poisonous.

"You ate some of these???" Damn it, damn it, damn it -- if she did they needed to get it OUT of her.

Cypress’paw finished washing himself after his little... overheat… and went back into the clearing, this time staying happily in the shade. Oh look! A butterfly! His kit-like instincts kicked in, making him run after it for a few bounds then leap up and snatch it from the air. What pretty wings! He would keep these, maybe start a collection.

[BEAR.]

Wolfhive lashed his tail as he scanned the clearing. "Vinekit!" He raised his voice, allowing it to boom across their camp. "It's been nearly a half-moon since you were demoted. Why haven't you completed your punishment? Only Briarberry's reported to me, and you just needed three queens to vouch for you."

Cypress’paw wandered around the edges of clearing, when he heard a buzzing from above him. Huh! A bee hive! A few easy jumps into the tree, there was a small bee hive, dripping with honey. Maayybee he could get just a tiny bit, just a lick or two. It was too tempting. He leapt up the wide, sturdy branches of the tree, and when most of the bees departed from the nest, in search of flowers or something, he crept forward, and swiped out a small piece of delicious, dripping honeycomb. Yum!!

He started clambering down the tree again, when one exceptionally angry bee buzzed over to him and stung him on the back. “OoOoowww!!” he yelped, almost loosing his balance. He lept out the tree and sprinted over to the other side of the clearing, out of view of the bees. Phew - none seemed to have followed him. Anyway, back to his honey. In only a few delightful licks, it was gone. So worth it. he thought.
