Re: RiverClan Territory
Dappledspirit was walking around Riverclan's territory. She steered clear of her clanmates, wishing to be alone, mostly. If anything, she wanted to go back in time, fix her messed up life. Nobody wants to talk to me. Maybe that's for the best, after all... I couldn't talk to them back. Dappledspirit thought, despite it being her words she still felt hurt. It was strange, this almost new lifestlye that she had to adjust to. She tried to stay strong for her clanmates, but when she was alone all her walls collapsed. I just need a distraction. Something to make me forget im broken...

The She cat smiled to herself and shook her head “sometimes your much wiser than me” she said with a faint smile before standing once again feeling the warmth of the sun breech her fur and quickly warm her skin. “Come, lets do some training before I send you back” she said calmly slipping down the ditch, dismissing everything she had said with a mere flick of her ratlike tail and disappearing down the other side.

Rosepaw shook his head quickly, denying what his mentor had just said. He wasn't wise, he didn't deserve to be wise. He needed to be so much better, he just wasn't there. He looked at his mentor as she stood up, and he nodded excitedly. He got to train again! That brought a smile onto his face, watching Rowan leave. He couldn't wait to see what they would do, maybe they would be able to do this more often now! Still smiling, he followed the deputy down the hill.

Re: RiverClan Territory
Dark brown tabby fur flitted in between the shadows of the tall reeds near the riverbank. The tom's head was held in a dignified manor and his tail was gently waving to and fro. Green eyes shown from deep sockets as Pedrichor turned his head slowly, taking in his surroundings. He hadn't been here before in a long time and didn't think he was coming back anytime soon. However, feeling rather nostalgic, the tom found himself back in these parts once again. The old syndicate member hadn't much cared for boundaries before, and saw no reason to change such a mindset now. He continued on beside the river, full aware of exactly whos territory he was currently within

The lean she cat leapt down the hillside trotting as the hill dipped out beneath her, careful to watch her apprentice was right behind her where she left him. “I didn’t have anything planned but if you’d like, you can suggest anything you would wanna learn and we could do that instead” she said calmly turning to look at him over her shoulder with an affectionate gaze as the ground leveled out once again leading way into sparse thicket. “It’s all up to you”

Nope. He's as unfamiliar as a kit at Seastones, she thought with a blink, focusing once more on the questions he asked. She wasn't sure how much information to give this tom in regards to RiverClan, and she wasn't about to bring him back to camp and ask Fallenstar to provide him sanctuary. After their rocky talk just a couple days before, and the tensions that rose high between the Clans as well as within them, it was too risky to do. "Yes, that's correct. There's a bit of... tension as of right now. I don't think it would be wise to bring you to camp." She was sure that he would survive on his own too; if it had been a queen or a younger feline, though, the medicine cat might've been inclined to act differently. "My name is Heatherfur. I'm their medicine cat," she offered, dipping her head in greeting. His name didn't really scare her, as she had been alive long enough to hear more drastic names from that, particularly from the cats of the Dusk Syndicate or even SkyClan. "Starling has a nice ring to it," she offered, the corners of her mouth flickering up in a brief smile before it resorted back to a more reserved, closed off look. After all, she didn't know this tom other than the fact that he was a loner and had stumbled onto RiverClan territory. She was glad that she had been the one to find him and not another warrior; it truly did seem like he needed a drink.
"Yes, I can lead you to the river this way, but then I will have to escort you off of RiverClan territory." Heatherfur made her to keep rudeness out of her tone, but did make it curt and to the point as she flicked her tail, indicating for Hannibal to follow her. "I would hate for another RiverClan warrior to catch you out and drive you off. Some are a lot less understanding than myself." It was true, her medicine duties were wearing on her - in a good way. She was beginning to spot the difference in cats who were hurting and those who wanted to just fight. As she padded along, making sure that she matched Hannibal's pace in case he wouldn't be able to keep up to a full walk, she pivoted her head towards him, curiosity sparkling in her gaze. "If you don't mind me asking, have you been a loner your entire life?" she inquired, wondering what this toms story was. Did he know of the Dusk Syndicate? Even if he didn't know of the Clans, surely he had heard of the ferocious group of blood thirsty cats who had once occupied the territory east of where they were now. Though they were disbanded by the Clans at the Gathering two moons ago, Heatherfur wouldn't put it past them to have regrouped some how, or still be prowling about in wait for unsuspecting victims.
|
Hannibal would nod his head slightly as she stated that she wouldn't deem it a wise decision to bring him back to camp. He never would have fully expected to be led back to camp anyways. His goal was to find a single cat to continue to get information from, so that he wasn't seen by the camp. This she-cat would do.
Something clicked in his head as he heard her rank in the clan and just the faintest murmur of an emotion flickered inside of him. Surprise. Luck was not something he accounted for in his plans, he didn't trust it, it was unstable and chaotic, not something that a plan should be based on. But it appeared he had just gotten lucky. This would be a good seed in the clan. In his moons of gathering knowledge, he had learned the structure of ranks in the clans and knew that the medicine cat was one of the more powerful ranks in the heirarchy. Close to the leader. And knew almost everything going on in the clan. Hannibal had been more so planning on finding a simple warrior in each clan, just an eye to give him information before he set his deeper lying plan into motion. This one though..
And while this went on in his head, he never broke his character. A small smile would tug on his lips as she complimented his alternate name, his head dipping slightly in what would appear to be appreciation.
"Oh that's fine. I wouldn't want to take any of your prey or anything. I just need a quick drink." Meowed the tom in what could be heard as a lighthearted and easy going tone. The dark furred tom would move right alongside her, or rather slightly behind her, his limbs appearing to shake slightly. "I... Appreciate you not running me off. I don't know this area very well, or where the drinking holes are. Now I at least know that there are groups with territories set up."
Turning his head slightly at the question, he would offer another slight smile before looking away, as if recalling his life story. "All of my life. And all of my parents life, and surely all of theirs. Ever since I was young we've traveled, never stopping too long in one place before moving on to the next. It's freeing. You wouldn't believe some of the places I've seen. I just arrived here, in this area maybe a day or two ago. There had been little rain on the way and so not much to drink.. Which brings me to my current state." A small cough wheezed out of his throat, his tail seeming to flick in annoyance at the cough.

Caspian wandered through the trees, his sharp gaze scanning the territory before him. The tom had never been to these parts before, but found the rush of the river comforting. He had been born near one farther away and had always felt a tug towards the water. The young male twitched an ear as the sound of pawsteps caught his attention. Crouching down, he slid through the undergrowth until he could see the feline making the sound. She seemed to be alone. Blue hues fixed on her, Caspian waited to see if she would reveal why she was here; was she just passing through like him or had he accidently intruded on Hernandez territory?

Lotusheart tilted her head a little bit as he started talking. Her tail tip twitched a little bit and her green orbs were focused solely on him now. They didn't hold anything other than a friendly emotion, constantly twinkling as she gazed at him. Once his statement was out, she felt her ears heat up a little, but she held a professional stature. "Well... thank you..." she replied, unsure of how to respond. "I try my best..." she spoke again, her gaze dropping to the ground a little bit, a small smile remaining on her face.

As they padded along the sodden path that lead to the river, Heatherfur listened intently to his story. She couldn't imagine traveling anywhere outside of the Clans' territories. The only journey she knew of was one she had been told many moons ago, of SkyClan traveling to the Clans during the second evil era. She had only been an apprentice then, but it still seemed so surreal that they had traveled all that way and settled into a new place. If the same thing happened within RiverClan, the molly wasn't sure what she would do. "I can't imagine traveling all your life," she echoed, her thoughts bouncing off her tongue in a pondering, thoughtful way as she focused her gaze ahead of them. She could smell the babbling stream of water up ahead, a popup of reeds blocking it from their view. "Right through here," she motioned, ducking her head a bit as she pushed through the tall spindly blades and poking her head out on the other side.
The one thing that impressed Heatherfur the most of RiverClan's spacious water-ridden territory was the river itself. So much life was always happening, especially with greenleaf in full swing. The sun shone down, barely any clouds blotting it from view. Prey scuttled about and there could be a fish spotted every other moment, wriggling by and onto the next part of the river. She realized too that this was also the spot Rowanflower had taught her how to swim at several days prior, and the thought brought a smile to her face. "Here. Don't worry, I just learned how to swim so if you fall in I can help." Stepping back so that Hannibal could reach the edge of the stream, she continued to observe the tom. A list of herbs ran through her mind, and she considered briefly returning to camp to retrieve some traveling herbs. No, he doesn't look like he needs herbs. Just water. Sitting back on her haunches, she waited patiently for him to go forward to get a drink, then she would escort him off of their territory and away from the other Clan's territory; the last thing every cat needed was her driving a loner from one Clan territory to the next.

Re: RiverClan Territory
Splashcloud wasn’t normally alone. She was a social butterfly, she thrived on the energy of others. She enjoyed being near other cats, and got flustered when she didn’t have enough social interaction. And that’s where the feline was at right now. Her siblings were all busy, of course, they always were. Her close friends were still apprentices, and her friends that were warriors seemed to be doing something better than talking to her. Well, what’s better than talking to me?! Splashcloud did have to admit that probably everything was better than talking to her. She knew she could get annoying, but some cats didn’t understand her need for constant attention.
So, moping in her loneliness, the feline found herself at the far end of Riverclam’s borders, though none of the ones that they shared with the other clans. Her dark blue gaze scanned the surrounding area, her tail flicking uncomfortably. She’d never strayed this far away from camp. “Pfft, you’re a warrior now Splashcloud. Of course you can be here.” The marbled Gray féline made a suspicious face, looking to the side advantage if she were talking to another cat. “You sure? It’s kind of.... creepy over here honestly..” She then turned the other way, making a different expression. “Scardey-cat.”
Splashcloud turned again, before stopping abruptly. “And now I’m talking to myself.” She murmured, flicking her ears in embarrassment. But of course, no one was there to see it.
