Vrogart opened his mouth to say something but the trumpets sounded for the speeches everyone started crowding aorund a raised wooden platform where the human king stood to speak first

Whatever claw was going to say was interrupted by the trumpets signaling the time for speeches "well ill tell you later" he said starting to walk away he looked back at her "you coming" he asked

She looked at him and nodded "Yeah im coming." she raced up next to him

Vrogart followed jasmine while claw led spiritfrost to a nice spot near the front "i gotta wait over there" he said and left her in her spot while he went to the left side of the platform to wait for his turn the other leaders did their speeches and when it was finally claws turn the moon was at its highest point in the sky he stepped onto the platform as the dwarf king stepped off nodding to claw claw walked to the middle and turned to face the crowd in the moonlight his scales were golden fire he looked like his father which made the crowd gasp "men women dwarves elves vampires wolves and fellow dragons tonight marks 100 years of the kingdom of elsguard but it also marks the 25th years of the mighty alliance of honor and it marks a day that will go down as a day of defiance as i have found that my uncle rikota is a traitor as well as my brother my own brother hiroga who killed my father in an ambush with 400 men i was there and i was able to kill all 400 men but hiroga escaped and i vowed to kill him" the crowd erupted into conversation and yells of outrage but claw silenced them with a thunderous roar his eyes glowing like flames he went on to tell the history of dragons and near the end he was saying "i also have a very special announcement as i have found someone to be my queen and i think she will accept" his gaze locked on spirit just as a shadow flashed arpund the crowd and flames erupted around them trapping them in a circle of inferno claw didnt move or flinch as everyone started panicking and the other leaders jumped up shouting orders suddenly arrows flew over the flames heading straight for spirits part of the crowd fast as the speed of light claw got in front of the arrows letting them hit him the everyone watched at first horrified as the arrows flew at him then in surprise as the arrows burst into flames and disinegrated before they even touched him (this right here is where spirit is going to find out about claws feelings for her) just then a figure burst through the flame roaring a challenge and barreling into the crowd sliced at spirit before the sword was even within inches of spirit claw uttered a thunderous roar and dived down onto the attacker roaring "rikota" which made the crowd panick even more ( my gosh this is long sry if it seems all over the place too this is part of the plot a vital part too)

(Oh my gosh that was long!) Jasmine slightly stepped back up as the everyone panicked.(Not really sure what to do.)
