Duskfern felt Webpaw circle around her, yellow eyes narrowed. She was organizing a strategy, you could easily tell by the look on her face. It was just a matter of how — what she would do, and when she would do it. She could try the first technique. Last time Duskfern had countered back, but Webpaw could possibly catch her by surprise.

Webpaw thought back to all her other training sessions, and then she remembered something. Whenever I am squished, I try to roll out. What if I purposefully roll underneath. Positioning herself facing her mentors side, she dropped down and rolled, aiming to land underneath her mentor.
(Sorry for late reply! I was out of town until Saturday)

Webpaw should have created a strategy now. It seemed as if she was ready, or was she? Either way, Duskfern braced herself for an attack. She was alarmed as Webpaw slithered beneath her, landing a few soft blows on her stomach. That was rather good for being a simple third attempt.”You catch on quickly, don’t you?” Duskfern purred, feeling a wave of satisfaction wash over her.

Webpaw smiled. "Thanks. Originally, I was going to have you squish and pin me to get underneath. Then, I remembered having to roll out every time you did, so I thought, why don't I just roll under myself instead." She paused for a moment, remembering the final assessment. "Quick question, how ready do you think I am to fight Dawnstar?", she asked, realizing how long she had been in Shadowclan, and how little she had gotten done. She just wanted to see if her mentor had a different opinion.

Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Badgerpaw
***_______________***
The young tom loved battle training. He wanted to one day be as powerful as Dawnstar. Maybe one day eh would stand right by her side as one of the strongest warrior. He was an ambitious little thing. One day he would have power. He just knew he would. He would have all cats at his mercy.
Badgerpaw kept his eyes focused on his mentor. He saw him scratch at his muzzle. He dodged, but not in enough time. He felt the tips of his claws swipe at his muzzle. It wasn't deep, so all it did was sting. The tom tried to hit the paw that had gotten him, claws unsheathed.

Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
@Angell @Willowfern
[Sorry this is late guys!]
Owlspots was slightly annoyed with Darkpaw's failed attempts at the simple move. This was why cats were supposed to be trained when they were little, they learned some things faster. As much as the molly hated kits and cats of similar ages, they were generally easy to teach. Darkpaw and Pumpkinpaw however, were not impressing her. At least the tom had successfully preformed the move. "No, you did not do well. Failed in everyway actually." Owlspots informed. How could you get the move so wrong? That was something the warrior could not understand. "Your crouch was sloppy, you did not bother to lift your legs to attack, additionally you added a lunge, which you could not do properly. You were not focused, not taking the time to properly execute the move." The snow bangle would explain. "Now, do you need another demonstration or will you try again alone?" She asked, icy eyes fixated on the apprentice.
The molly let her eyes stay unmoving from Darkpaw for a few long moments before turning to Pumpkinpaw. He had completed the move on his own after a few failed attempts paraphs she would have him demonstrate. No, that would most likely make the young tom freak out like the young molly had. "Practice which ever part you feel less comfortable with, these are the base skills for all moves. Do not learn these well and you will not be able to move on." Owlspots stated to Pumpkinpaw, however her last bit was to both of the apprentices.

Duskfern washed her paws gently while listening to the sound of Webpaw’s voice. Her ears twitched on occasion. The chimera she-cat lowered her paw and allowed her tongue to slip back into her mouth.
”You’ve got a little bit more to learn, but for the most part, almost ready.” she mewed calmly, offering a small smile to her apprentice.
Surely they would be done with training soon. It was a bit of a disappointing thought, but until then, they had time. Not to mention, Webpaw did well. Being a former rogue pays off when it comes to battling.
“Anyways, call it a day?” Duskfern glanced at the brown and gray apprentice, looking into her yellow eyes.

"Really!", Webpaw exclaimed. It was almost finally time to prove her fighting skills to Dawnstar, something she had been working on for moons. "Yeah. I guess we could call it a day", she said, realizing how exhausted she was. Padding over to her mentor in excitement and determination, she waited for the signal to follow.

”Really.” Duskfern laughed.
She saw her apprentice bounding over to her, and edged her head the way to camp.
“Let’s go,” she mewed, faint sunlight shining on her pelt.

Webpaw followed her mentor back in the direction of camp. She thought she had barely got anything done, but in reality, she was almost ready for the thing she had been working towards for most of her time here. The final assessment.

Instead, the tabby allowed his apprentice to attempt whatever attack he wanted, knowing it likely wouldn't have much impact on him given his larger stature. As Shadepaw dashed forward, the deputy assumed he'd be going in for a direct attack. However, the change in direction took him by slight surprise. He knew what was coming next, but he hadn't expected a maneuver of that sort to be attempted by a brand new apprentice. With Shadepaw landing on his back, the large tom shifted his weight to one side, which would likely send the apprentice sliding off and onto the ground. True, he wasn't planning on counterattacking, but he wasn't about to make this too easy either.

Caught by surprise shadepaw started to slide off his mentors back, he knew his mentor would do something to get him off but he didn't expect this. Forcing his claws down he tried to Keep his position but he couldn't and fell to the forest floor "oof" he said in a complaining tone "that hurt".
