Tawnypaw smiled. "Of course I know Twilightstar." she meowed excitedly. "Like, everyone in the clan knows her! She's the leader! You're famous because you are one of Twilightstar's kits! I don't think leaders usually have kits. Not in a dramatic way like the vulture attack, anyways."
Wait - Lionkit liked stories? "Do you want to hear the story?" she asked the three kits, cocking her head. Tawnypaw loved to tell stories, even though she wasn't even close to being an elder.
Twilightstar seemed a bit more irked with queen than last time. She had just brought her back to camp last time, why she thought it was a good idea to go out so close to kitting again was a loss on her. "Brindlefern, I don't even know what to say to that." It was hard to be concerned when she did the same thing twice not even a full moon apart in time. "I'll bring you back to camp, but you are not allowed to leave until after your kits are born." She warned, nudging her head in the direction of the camp and followed behind the queen. There would be no three times with this, if Brindlefern could be more responsible she would no longer be WindClan's responsibility.
(Done, don't let her go missing again. Twi won't let her back in the clan a third time)
"Yes?" Hear her name called, the clan leader slipped out of the nursery with a yawn. Twilightstar recognized the curled eared molly immediately. "Curltuft, I haven't seen you in camp for several sunrises."
Twilightstar found his reasoning for wanting to join WindClan a bit odd, but she couldn't find much wrong with it. Some cats simply enjoyed a change in scenery, although that didn't really bode well with their loyalty. It was hard to demand loyalty from a cat, Twilightstar could only hope that Cedarbuzz wasn't as fickle with WindClan as he was with RiverClan. There was probably more to that story than what he was telling her, but she was going to put her faith in him for now. No RiverClanner, former or current, had any reason to harm WindClan.
"You're welcome, come on, I'll show you the way to camp." The one-eyed she-cat beckoned the tom to follow behind her as she made her way across the moor in the direction of her home.
(To answer your VM, as soon as he's done with his training, either the mentor or Cedarbuzz should let Twilight know. We're done too.)
Twilightstar was taking a walk, stretching her legs, and taking in the open sky. Upon looking back down, her eyes caught sight of a cat coming towards her. Rather than going to check, she waited for them o come to her.
(No, if you haven't already, you can go ahead and send him over. It doesn't really matter if he's missing in WindClan if he's just going to join RiverClan.)
(You need to submit her to the allegiances, this thread is for missing cats and outsiders)
"Yeah, I know." Curltuft sighed. "I was out with my apprentice and...things happened. She's not far behind, she should be here soon as well. I figured I should come back since my kits will be here soon. I don't want anything to happen to them."
Beastkit blinked as he charged into the clearing, causing him to stumble and land with a plop on the ground. It was brighter than anywhere in the nursery and the scents of Windclan was almost overwhelming. But nothing was overwhelming to Beastkit. Looking up at his brother as he talked, he knew exactly how Leechkit was going to finish. Despite it being an obviously rhetorical question, he answered nonetheless. "Yes, someone has told me I talk too much before. I believe that was.. you?" The brown tom stood up from his place on the ground, only to find that Leechkit had left with a dramatic eye-roll. He had gotten rather good at those over the past moon. All Beastkit could manage was a weak flutter of his blue eyes.
Beastkit was utterly shocked at the number of cats in the clearing. In his little mind, he had thought that there could only be a few cats in the clan other than his littermates and two mothers, but by now, he could tell it was definitely wrong. Galloping back and forth from nooks and crannies, he stopped at Leechkits words. "Let's meet everyone!" And he meant everyone. After a moment of excited panting, he calmed his breath down to a reasonable pace and carried on slower in an attempt to seem as dignified as the grey Leechkit.
Walking slowly next to his littermates, he surveyed the clearing thoughtfully, trying to match each cat with a scent, though he knew they would be forgotten by the next day. He had already begun to sit down next to the pile of prey, Lionkit tottering beside him when the first cat appeared. She was smaller than some of the other cats in the clearing, an apprentice, probably. Beastkit glanced to Lionkit as she spoke up. It was always best to let his littermates talk first. That way everyone would be happy. The other cat- the new one, seemed to be very talkative. That always made him feel safe. As Lionkit continued to talk, he nodded in agreement with her question, "Yeah. What's a famous? Are you a famous?"
The next cat to join their little party was bigger. Maybe a warrior? Beastkit didn't care how old they were as long as they could be his friend. "Oh, don't worry. Leechkit isn't mean. he just likes to tease us." He blinked with honest blue eyes as he spoke, "Leechkit would never be mean."
The third cat seemed different from his other friends. The white and grey cat who ambled over seemed sadder, less certain. Lionkit seemed to pick up on that as well. "Hello!" Beastkit stood up and bounded over to him, giving his leg a light bump. "Yeah! An adventure!" Leaning over to the lilac kit, he paused and asked, "What's an adventure?" Beastkit immediately forgot his question when the Peachcat was brought up. "Peachcat is great!" Beastkit didn't actually know Peachcat, but he'd heard stories about Peachcat making ouchies disappear.
By this time, his first friend had spoken again. "I love stories!" He turned his head away from Sad Cat, but couldn't help not wanted to leave them alone. It wasn't fair for someone to be sad while he heard a story about Mother! "Twilightstars leader?" Beastkit wasn't quite sure if he should know that or not. Come to think of it, Mother hadn't been in the nursery a lot, so it made sense. It did explain why everyone was so frantic to meet them. Turning from first-friend to Leechkit, he asked his all-knowing brother, "What are vultures?"

"I wanted to fit in," Sharpkit felt stupid, "and so I decided to go out. All the kits think it's really brave and stuff. I went out and I was going to go out for just a little bit, but then I got lost and there was this kittypet or something who found me and helped me. And after the night was over, she led me back to the edge of the WindClan territory and let me go back the rest of my way by myself. I'm really sorry. It was really stupid to do that and I'll never do it again. I wanted to be different." She swallowed. "What's my punishment?"
She wondered if her explanation had been long enough, but she also wanted to get it over with.
For some reason, Sharpkit felt like Twilightstar was sad. Disappointed, actually. Disappointed in her. Maybe it was because she was blind. Maybe it was because she kept sneaking out of camp. Maybe it was both. Whatever it was, she was sorry. But, she couldn't say that. It was too late.
Twilightstar's ears perked as she walked out of the camp and cocked her head, eye fixated on the small shape a few tree lengths out. Curious, she walked towards it, whiskers flicking as she discovered the kit. "Beekit, what are you doing out of camp?"
(No form needed for the missing)
Doing her regular sweep around the territory, Twilightstar wasn't surprised to find a familiar face that had gone missing a bit ago. "Smokestep, you've return, mind telling me where you've been?"
A loud yawn left the leader's maw as she stood up hearing her name called from the opening in her den. The voice was recognizable and young, stretching and straightening up, Twilightstar padded over to the entrance and set her eye on the young she-cat. "Sharpkit." She meowed her greeting, swallowing the bitter emotions in her chest. Sadly, Twilightstar was missing one of her kits, she had been hoping to see her, but it was for naught. As much as she worried for her missing daughter, she couldn't put Midnightkit before her clan.
"You went wandering off again, didn't you?" Twilightstar growled softly while staring cooly down at the young cat. She would have thought she had learned her lesson the first time, but it seemed like she hadn't. Twilightstar might have to crack down on this one a bit harsher than usual. Now that Twilightstar was all that mean to begin with, but even she had a point where she couldn't tolerate disobedience. "I'm sure you have some sort of excuse, let's hear it."
(You're good)
The number of kits lost and then found was rather alarming, Twilightstar had no clue how to nip this in the bud. Shaking off some heather, the leader strolled along the open moor, eye locked on the small kit sit in the grass. She was always shocked with how kits managed to make it back to WindClan without getting eaten or attacked. She supposed StarClan might be looking out for them, even if they failed to do so for the clan as a whole. "Nightkit, you're far from home," Twilightstar announced her presence as she came up from behind the young one.
That was loud! Who was yowling like that? The slender lilac feline lifted her and raised both her ears as she tried to pinpoint the screech. Her paws set off in what she assumed was the right direction, maw gaping, as she breathed in old and new scents till she picked out the one that didn't belong. Trailing it led her through some dense shrubbery, once on the other side, she located a white she-cat. "Ah, Whitelily, was that you?" While questioning, Twilightstar surveying the area looking for any signs of a threat but found none. Relaxing, she finally settled on the missing warrior with confusion.
Her eye was trailing the young kits playing in front of her nursery, before slowly rotating towards the camp entrance as a cat stepped in. The rough appearance had the leader shoot to her paws and padding over to meet the cat. A closer inspection had the tension draining from her body, not a rogue, just a missing cat who seemed to have come upon hard times. "Goosehowl, what happened to you?" Twilightstar inquired as she looked him over.
(I'd rather you do rejoining RPs separate)
(That's alright)
Oh, that wasn't a mouse? Twilightstar has paused, hearing some rustling coming from some overgrowth, she had slid into a hunting crouch only to be startled when the kit appeared. Straightening herself, she sniffed the air, something she probably should have done before, picking out that almost sweet scent that kits seemed to carry on them. "Snailkit, I thought you were a mouse." Mewed the leader, scowling at the small cat. "Why are you out here?"
Goosehowl raised his head slowly, eyes dull. With a tiny, wheezing laugh, he dropped heavily to his haunches, the mats in his tangled, damp fur becoming apparent. “I thought there was something left for me, in the life of a loner, but…” he hissed a resentful sigh. “It doesn’t appear so. I’m sorry I left. You know ever since WindClan took me in as a kit, my loyalties have only lay here. I hope you can forgive my actions, Twilightstar.” He dipped his head to the leader in submission. She would do with him what she would, and Goosehowl could only hope for minimal punishment.
Beastkit blinked as he charged into the clearing, causing him to stumble and land with a plop on the ground. It was brighter than anywhere in the nursery and the scents of Windclan was almost overwhelming. But nothing was overwhelming to Beastkit. He felt obligated to answer that last question. "well, Vultures are birds of prey. That means they hunt occasionally. Usually though, they wait until something dies and it becomes carrion, or their food source. The way they eat is disgusting. they stick their head in the carcass to eat it from the inside! Oh, and.. just so you are informed, vultures attacked your mother to eat her, while she was having you, so that is why everyone talks about those sky vermin." he said this coolly, not regretting if fear or anything else was instilled in them ever after.

Beekit looked shamefully at Twilightstar. I- I wanted to go on a walk. He squeaked. He really hoped she didn't get to mad at him. I just wanted some time alone and got lost.

Hiii sorry for the sudden hiatus, was sick. I'll be doing my best to catch up with roleplays!||
Oh stars, this is why he was in charge when they did just about anything. His siblings lacked enough brain cells to take care of themselves. Leechkit took notice of all three cats that took an immediate interest in them. The biggest cat with the orange pelt had to be a warrior, so the other two must be apprentices or something like that. The one had the audacity to call him mean-- err, well he didn't say it directly, but Leechkit could easily tell what he was angling at. The other two just started talking about random stuff, had none of these cats been taught manners? Just because everyone knew who they were didn't mean the kits knew them. Names would be nice. Beastkit and Lionkit probably already gave them dumb nicknames by now.
Leechkit found himself staying up to better accompany Lionkit as she burrowed underneath him. He gave a very aggravated hiss, but considering she seemed a bit freaked out with all the attention, Leechkit allowed it. Lionkit was a bit of a scaredy-cat, she warmed up fast, which helped a lot. The young gray tom focused his attention on the Beastkit who had been zooming around but calmed down a second later, coming over to join them. As his littermates begun talking, and Beastkit pretty much mimicked Lionkit the whole time, Leechkit leaned over to give Beastkit a must-needed bath, the gray tom started licking Beastkit's head and worked his way down. His brother had brown fur sticking up all over the place, Leechkit didn't need the older cats thinking that Mother and Ashmother never cleaned them.
"Famous probably means that everyone knows about us, and an adventure is when cats go out exploring or looking at new places they never been before," Leechkit answered after Beastkit asked about it again and added a second question moments later. It was the first time he had heard that word famous as well, but unlike his idiots, Leechkit was better at picking up context clues and was beyond moons smarter than them. He knew what an adventure was from stories he's heard in the nursery. After he finished making sure Beastkit was presentable, he shifted his weight a little and climbed over Lionkit once he noticed that she was more comfortable with the new faces; he sat down between her and Beastkit. Her numerous spills had left her as messy as Beastkit. He sighed loudly, like he had the weight of the entire world on his shoulders, and swiftly got to work on cleaning her lilac fur as well.
Both of his ears shot up when each sibling took a turn asking him questions that for whatever reason they both assumed he'd know. Did they forget that he was literally the same age as them and it was his first time out of the nursery as well? Thankfully, the orange cat took the vulture question away from him. Leechkit listened intently as he explained what they were, basically, it was yet another threat that he was going to have to train hard to eliminate when he got older. Naturally, these flying vermin were going to have to pay for causing his mother any type of grief.
"The cat's name is Peachfrost, not Peachcat, you two." Like Beastkit, Leechkit couldn't exactly recall when or if he had met that cat, he had just heard about her from word of mouth from mother. She tended to the sick and injured, she was supposedly someone of importance, but since he's couldn't recall her she couldn't be that important. "I've no clue which den she lives in, but we can find her later." He replied to Lionkit's question, assuming that it would satisfy her. His siblings both had an attention span the size of one of his claws, small. They'd most likely get distracted a few seconds into the conversation.
He glanced at the bubbly apprentice who spoke about their mother, Leechkit knew what a leader does, but he didn't fully understand what such a rank entitled or meant. He'd figure it out sooner or later. The big gray kit double-checked to make sure that his own pelt was in order before finally asking a very important question. "It's great and all, I suppose, that you all know of us, but what would be even greater is if you guys gave us some names to go by." The amount of pure snark put in his words would have made Twilightstar cringe or cuff him over the head, possibly both. Mother said that introductions were important, both mothers also told him that he should respect his elders, but Leechkit didn't get why he had to respect someone who was born before him? It's not like he had any control over when he was born! So sassy, snarky, and downright rude was all he was going to give his, so-called clanmates, for now.
Not one of them had thought to give them a name, so in hindsight, they were the rude and inconsiderate ones, not him. Plus the orange one had partially called him mean. Beastkit had already fixed that, but the cat wouldn't know mean if it came up and bit him in the butt. Leechkit wasn't usually sensitive, but when it came to his kin, he did not play around and often got rather testy. He was never mean to his siblings, perhaps a little harsh, but he knew when he went too far and would often apologize and make it up to them, Leechkit was a good brother and son, he wouldn't have anyone saying anything else, not without a fight on their paws anyway.

"fine then. how about Leader for Leechkit and Learner or Follower for Beastkit?"he said. "Those seem fitting, and Easier to pronounce." he said coolly. "So. Leaderkit! How is Twilightstar? You seem smart, so uh...any news that we are not clued into from your mother?" he asked, hoping to get the latest celebrity news.
My, these kits were rather talkative, and Leechkit seemed to have the mind of an apprentice already. The den would grow quite full when they all came of age to receive their mentors. Overall, aside from the snark provided by the leader of the ragtag group, Snowypaw felt a smile twitch onto their lips. Bold and brash and unafraid of the word at his paws - or, if he was, he hid it particularly well. Blue eyes studied him, and for a moment they felt a twinge of guilt and shame. Why couldn't they be like that? Just because Gulltwist had scolded them on their first outing? Snowypaw missed being happy and carefree, but knew that if they wanted to have a chance at getting trained, they would have to act more respectable and less like a kit.
Head turning to look at Lionkit, they let out a soft purr. "My belly is alright. And I'm sorry that I appear sad, I'm really trying not to be," they replied, then an idea popped into their head. Eyes lighting up like sparkly stars, they leaned close to Lionkit with a grin. "You've actually turned my whole mood around. With you being so happy, how can I not be?" They kept their voice light and airy, offering a small smile to the young kit before leaning back up.
Out of the three, Snowypaw found themselves enjoying Lionkit the most. Scared at first, then quick to warm up and ready for anything. Exactly like how they'd been as a kit. Quite often they found themselves reflected in the kits; behavior, mannerisms. If only being six moons didn't mean getting plucked from the nursery and dropped into the battlefield. Snowypaw missed the slow, lazy days of batting a moss ball around the soft floor of the nursery.
Attention quickly grabbed again by Beastkit who had tumbled into her leg. They let out a small chuckle, and made it a point to not move or flinch away and instead smile down at them. Sure, it didn't do a complete change of their mood, but at least the situation felt lighter than the one sitting alone by the prey pile had.
It was at Leechkit's last statement Snowypaw realized that none of them yet had given names. And why was a warrior telling them such a scary story, and an apprentice eager to do the same?? Blue eyes hardened as they shot look in Elderflare's and Tawnypaw's direction, along with a paw waved in their direction to get their attention. That wasn't fit for kits, even Snowypaw knew that as an apprentice. But did they dare speak out against them? No, hopefully a look and bat of the paw would do.
"My name is Snowypaw, for my white fur," they explained before looking at her Clanmates. "And this is Elderflare," they gestured towards the bigger cat, "and Tawnypaw." Finishing off by flicking a tail in the other apprentices' direction. Looking back over at Leechkit, they gave a blink of their blue eyes. Was is their place to correct the arrogance? The sheer snark that laced each word coming out of his mouth? Or was it Twilightstars? Kits would be kits, they supposed...
Instead, they decided to go for a rather generic question; "Are you guys having fun exploring camp?"
