"What the heck?!" Blackheart heard the ruckus from the nursery and stormed over to Thistleripple "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" She yelled at the warrior.

Flutterkit tried to keep her head high, but inwardly she was cowering. Had she made a mistake? A big one? She tried to get Thistleripple out of her mind as she headed towards the elders' den. She should have gone straight there in the first place; no dallying to bother the warriors. It was her just punishment. You really ARE a silly kit. All you can do is embarrass yourself, get distracted and ignore your duties, not to mention aggravate the warriors. Stop avoiding it and just-- She paused. What had she been doing? Oh, no, not again. "I can't remember!" she groaned. Miserable, the kit paced in circles, desperately trying to get her brain to remember what it should. I was heading across the clearing after.. after I talked to Thistleripple... how did that end? Dang it, Flutterkit, you've done it again! Why can't you just be normal?

"The kit attacked me, so I lightly pinned her and told her she was a silly kit. She called herself a warrior, and me a kit". He said in a beliveable tone.

"Oh! Oh yeah," Flutterkit said, perking up a bit. She turned to Blackheart. "I butted into their conversation," she said slowly. "And Thistleripple got mad. So I told him to stop acting like a kit! Tawnykit decided to go over to Flutterkit, sitting down right beside the kit. “You okay? I saw what happened with you and that warrior.” Her ears were flat, her pelt brushing against Flutterkit’s in sympathy. @Beyond_Carrot

There wasn't much doing other than the occasional nighttime sound however. And Rainywhisker, in his self-appointed position outside, quickly settled into a state of passive observation. Of course, he was truly only outside to enjoy the fresh air some more before retiring to sleep, but he thought himself slightly more useful by acting as a watchman of sorts.

Yet, when Buckstar decides on approaching the dark tabby, it takes a moment for him to respond. Rainywhisker inhales slowly, glancing over the other tom and offering a welcoming dip of his head. "'Evening," the warrior meows. Listening to the other, he then nods thoughtfully. "I am. It's a relief to be back. I feel in my element again. Strange, perhaps, seeing as I wasn't out of the forest for too long. Guess it's just being in a Clan that does it."

Pausing, Rainywhisker gazes around the clearing. He did feel peaceful. But the question rises in his mind, and the tom allows himself to ask: "And what of yourself, Buckstar?" Looking again at the leader, he continues. "How is it, leading the Clan?" Buckstar was a good tom. The warrior wasn't familiar with him, really, but at a glance he was pure at heart- Somebody who would do the best for his Clan.
