The tortoiseshell padded over to Flickerkit and sat down. He looked upset. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" She asked calmly as she bent down to groom his pelt. Amberglow had noticed it gradually that Flickerkit had been growing. He was becoming an older kit now. She knew the time was soon that he would be an apprentice and be less dependant on her, so she liked to cherish every moment.

Sadness lingered in his gaze,
“W-will I be able to be an apprentice even with my... problems?” He motioned to his front which was a bit scratched up from him falling over.

Falconpaw heard her name from across the clearing, and flicked a tufted ear in the direction of the kits. She twitched her tail in amusement and padded over, “I heard my name, and I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing...” she joked lightly, as she sat beside Flutterkit, lemon yellow eyes bright.

ScarletPaw Scanned the Apprentices den. Another Boring Day, nothing ever changes... she thought to herself. She Spotted ValleyPaw. I Say our little hunting session went well enough! And nobody found out! She Cocked and eyebrow at her and gave her a nod. @Zero

Valleypaw looked up from her grooming session at the other's words, hesitating for only a moment. It was the cat she'd snuck out hunting with... er, Scarletpaw was her name, if she was remembering correctly. She had been good at hunting, enough for Val to remember her name at least. "Yeah, I'd say so," She meowed. It was true that they hadn't gotten in trouble, to say the least.

"Maybe We could do that again- Or Maybe Something Else! Like- Er- Annoying everybody else-" Wait, she already does that "No, I do that every day... Er- Let's see..." She Looked at ValleyPaw expectantly, hoping she had something for Scarlet to do @Zero

Valleypaw resisted the urge to chuckle as Scarletpaw spewed a little bit of nonsense her way. Was she flustered? Officially amused, the apprentice climbed to her paws: she was in a good mood today, it seemed.

She knew by the way Scarletpaw looked expectantly her way that it was time to take the lead. She mosied though, taking her time stretching out her limbs - amusing herself further by making the other wait for her guidance.

With a hum to her voice: "My mentor did give me some chores to do by the end of the day today... you could help." It was sorta a suggestion.

"Good idea," Flutterkit smirked at Dawntail's suggestion. "I'll keep that in mind."

Tawnykit sat beside Flutterkit, giving a smile. “Don’t worry, we’ll be apprentices before you know it! Just wait on how much patrols we would be able to go to, or how much we will be training.” She nudged Flutterkit lightly.

"I certainly hope so," Flutterkit agreed. "But it's still so much moons until our ceremonies!"

Chores..? She didn't really want to do that. But she didn't have anything else to do anyway. "Alright, I guess ill help.. What do they want you to do...?" She looked at ValleyPaw with Despair but acceptance @Zero

Amberglow stopped grooming to pause and look down at the tom. "Honey, of course, you would. Don't let a disability stop you! You're a living being, just like the rest of us. That would be foul play if they wouldn't let you!" She said this with a confident and ensuring look and sound. Of course, Flickerkit was going to become an apprentice!
