She dropped in the hunters crouch and then kept in the air before pouncing, pining it down,"What do I do?" She meowed with the prey pinned down.

Spiritsight giggled lightly at her apprentice's eager way of acting. As she was pushed in the side, she laughed for a second before she turned around and started padding towards the exit of the camp. "Easy, easy, we have all day, hmm?" She said with an amused purr.
Walking with confidence, the young warrior closed out the pressures from anyone else but Badgerpaw, at least as much as she could. She wanted to fully focus on her apprentice for now.

(Mine is short as well here.. Gee, my imagination!)

Inhaling deeply, the warm scent of the forest, although a bit brisk, flooded the apprentices senses as she waited patiently for her mentor to catch up. Her eyes lingered on every little detail, mapping out the camp and along the weaved brambles that surrounded camp. There was so much of the territory she had yet to see, but today was about hunting! Badgerpaw would have to ask Spiritsight to take her out again later. Wiggling with excitement, the apprentice danced on her paws once more, calling out to her mentor as she watched the other push their way out of camp.

"Where do we go from here to hunt?"

Are we safe? The kit stopped thinking about finding herbs and shiny things. He looked around, pricking his ears, scared. Was there actually a snake? Or a badger? Or a fox? The kit's mind wandered to all the terrible ways he would die and be eaten. We're safe right? I'm...not scareed at all!

Deciding not to respond to the kit, Wisteriapaw continued to attempt to scent the strange way it had just gone away. Suddenly, she remembered that she must have been downwind - she had remembered other warriors talking about how they couldn't scent anything if they were downwind. Suddenly, there was a rustle in the bushes in front of the two cats, and Wisteriapaw instinctively dropped into a crouch, signaling with her tail for Halfkit to do the same. Without a word, she once again opened her mouth to try and scent whatever was tracking the two young cats. This time, the stench hit her like a boulder. Unable to recognize it, the molly only knew that the horrid scent must be that of a creature who was not a friend to the cats. Rich and smelling of blood, something prowled nearer to them by the second. Frozen with fear, Wisteriapaw found herself unable to move or run away or do anything to protect her, or even warn Halfkit that something terribly bad was near.
