primroseshadow watched and nodded shadowclan had killed to many of her clanmates now it was time for them to pay for every windclan warrior they had taken, she turned to see that yellowpaw had left with the patrol she was on i hope she stays safe thought primroseshadow.

In the center of camp, atop one of the large sunning rocks, a light brown and white tabby lies, stretched out on his back. His white belly shines with the rays of the mid-day sun, and his emerald eyes are half-lidded as he soaks up the golden warmth. Green-Leaf is coming to an end soon, and with it comes the hottest days of the year.

The tom enjoys his sunning for a good while until he gets bored, flipping back over onto his belly. His tail lashes behind him as he tries to figure out what to do to cure his boredom- Chestnutchip scans the clearing, searching for a friend or acquaintance to talk to. Suddenly, he spots a young apprentice padding out of the den. Chestnut doesn't often speak to apprentices, but he thinks he might as well try. Besides, he likes kits, and apprentices are just like that but bigger, right?

Chestnutchip leaps off the rock, shaking his short fur out before padding over to the entrance to the apprentice's den. He settles in right beside the younger cat, wrapping his tail neatly around his paws. "Hello! I don't think I've really spoken to an apprentice before. What's your name, then?" he asks cheerfully, left ear twitching in excitement. If there's one thing Chestnutchip loves, it's making new friends.

"I'm Alderpaw." Mewed the shy tom, shrinking in a little. This warrior was quite loud and boisterous

Windclan had had enough. Even the even tempered and ever patient Twilightstar had reached that critical limit when even the moons long torture of herself by the hands of the worst kind of cat didnt. It made sense, the leader was always a cat who prioritized the clan so even if the injustices done against her were left behind for the good of windclan when that turned out to not even matter it was time to fight. It was little comfort for the iron strong and cool rage that still only built inside Crowtooths pelt. This rage probably wouldnt fade, he distantly thought, it may grow less pressing but it'd never be fixed as a broken glass could never be put back together again. The urge to burn shadowclan to the ground, to cause the necrotic end of the clan would always be here and while blood here and now would make it less all consuming theres always be a hard part in the warrior unable to let go and constantly looking for more blood now. That was the future though, right now there was no time or room to think deep thoughts now was the time for action.

Action Crowtooth would complete with all his might and unmovable motivation.

The tunneler was silent as he padded over to Batglare too blank exterior after his enraged betrayed by his heaving chest and loud raspy breathing already strained from suppressing himself until it was time and the adrenaline in his blood. He was more then ready and simply restraining himself until it was time.

The tom clocks his head, running the name over in his mind. He's met a few cats named Alder before, but not enough to where it's a common name. His eyes light up and he smiles wide at the younger cat.

"Hey, Alderpaw is a great name! Better yet, we're matching, both named after trees. Hey, are you going out hunting or something? If so I'll go with you, it's not a good idea for an apprentice to go out on their own, you know. Who's your mentor?" he rambles, cocking his head in curiosity.

Owltalon still stared down at the ground, dull eyes seeing nothing. He was still raw with grief over the loss of his apprentice. The mutilated bodies were still fresh in his mind and he still wasn't sure he would ever unsee the gruesome images. Owltalon looked up blankly. It sounded like Twilightstar was putting together a plan. It felt disrespectful to be planning an attack so soon after Clanmates were murdered. But, they had to get some sort of revenge. A slow anger began to burn inside of him as he heard Wolffang's speech. He was absolutely right. Their Clanmate's deaths couldn't go unavenged. ShadowClan had crossed a line and it was time to show them that they had pushed WindClan around once too many. They could grieve later.

Pushing his sorrow aside, Owltalon stood calmly, his eyes lit with rage. "My patrol!" he called. Leopardfire, Deadpaw, Primroseshadow, Softleaf, Crowspeck, Leafpaw and Bunnypaw. Come over here and listen. ShadowClan has bullied us for moons. Maybe even seasons. Hell, all the Clans have looked down on us for seasons because of our size and skittish nature. They laugh at us and call us weak. Dawnstar had taunted us without mercy since becoming the leader of ShadowClan. Use their hate to fuel you. Get mad! Remember every insult, every time a cat from another Clan has wronged. Use it as energy. Let us show them who WindClan really is!" He stopped, realizing his claws were out and his pelt was pushed. Owltalon rarely got angry, but when he did, it was usually for a good reason.

Softleaf sighs and sends a last prayer to StarClan and then nodded, his chest puffed out and his claws flexing and digging into the dirt. Everything in him wanted to prove himself to his clan. He didn't know what he could possibly do but he'll strain his muscles as much as needed. He'll fight through his injuries and fatigue. He'd do anything to protect his clan.

Rowanpaw came to the meeting late, lost in his thoughts once again and it cost him the first part of the clan meeting. Foolish thing. Silently cursing himself out as he padded to the back of the pack. Just as he sat down the leader started listing off names. Huh, his wasn't added onto it.

Why was he not called up? Was it due to being late? This puzzled the tom. He wouldn't blame the leader. Talking about high ranks where was his older sister? The light brown and cream tom looked around, dark brown eyes scanning the area for the medicine cat.

her eyes widened in fear and her fur bristled. “y-you can’t do that” she murmured. ”please you can’t do that” she stated again, her words firmer but still unsure. “I still have a purpose to serve in this clan!’’ the apprentice pleaded.

"My mentor hates me." Growled Alderpaw. 'And my mother and father. I have no one, I don't even know how to hunt!" He sighed

Chestnutchip's ears droop with sadness, and he unwraps his tail from his paws to swish it gently. Hated by his parents and mentor? That sounds like the worst possible thing that could happen to a cat! Chestnutchip stares at his paws for a moment, trying to decide what to say.

"That's awful. You know, if you talk to Twilightstar im sure she can get you a new mentor. I mean, I know she's a but pre-occupied with all the ShadowClan stuff that's going on..." and as he thinks back to the horrible deaths of their Clanmates, a shiver runs down his spins. "Point being, I'm sure you could get a better mentor. I mean, you can't just neglect your apprentice's training like that!"
