The little she was laying under a shaded area in the clearing, running her tongue through her brown pelt. It was always a bit harder to clean the dirt from it due to its coloring, but that just gave Swiftwind something to do. Normally, she would’ve spent the day out on the territory, not wanting the heavily populated clearing with cats coming in and out. However, today seemed quite slow and the clearing was relatively empty.
Letting out a soft puff of air, Swiftwind shifted onto her back and placed her head against the ground. It all felt so calm right now, she knew that could be disturbed at any moment. So, the she soaked up every second of relaxation she could get.

Morningpaw sighed as she slowly trotted into camp, looking at the cats around her live their lives as if she, or any of the other missing cats, had been missing. She grumbled but she didn't want to give Twilightstar a hard time, especially since she wanted to see if she could see if any Apprentices alongside her missed her. Maybe she could make a friend or two-- no, she didn't need friends! But it'd be nice to have someone to talk to...

She looked over and sat down away from her Windclan allies, and waited for her Leader to step out and see her.AS she waited she wondered what she'd say.

It caught Bearbranch off guard when Tidepaw approached him and he responded with a kind of grumble. He was drifting off into sleep as she came over so he was a bit drowsy. He snapped himself out of it by biting his paw, THAT sure woke him up. He turned over to her with his dead face and gave his actual response. "Well, It's simply the best place to sunbathe. The rocks are nice and warm and all you have to worry about is not getting bitten." His dead face, although it did look like he was about to murder someone was a bit more relaxed considering he had just gotten up from a long time of Sunbathing. He narrowed his eyes though as he looked at Tidepaw. "Though I must ask, what are you.. an apprentice doing here? Without your mentor it seems?" It was a bit strange how she even got here without anyone noticing and frankly Bearbranch wasn't looking to Babysit right now.

Tidepaw blinked, maybe she should have thought it through a bit more before approaching Bearbranch. “I.. uh,” she fumbled for an excuse then shrugged, “I’m came to look for herbs.” It was the truth, she just glazed over the part where she was here by herself. “My mentor’s not too far.” Ok that was definitely a lie, kind of. She didn’t know exactly where her mentor was so it was possible she was nearby. “Do you come out here often?” Most cats stayed away from Adder Rocks, or at least tried to keep apprentices away.

The stretch of burrows that the groundhogs lived in were rather far off the beaten track (probably why they hadnt been spotted thus far) but once the patrol entered the area they'd claimed their presence was rather obvious. The tunnels were widened and well dug out obviously by an animal, if one listened carefully they could hear the calls and movements echoing off the walls, and had the group been able to see the tracks would be evident. Also the entire are stunk of rodent. That was a dead giveaway too.


While Crowtooth had identified the stretch of tunnel systems the groundhogs had claimed he didnt exactly know their precise nest location too wary of being mobbed or scaring the prey away. For an experienced tunneler though that wasnt really an issue. Ears flicking and head down low to track using his whiskers to guide himself in the dark Crowtooth weaved his way through the tunnels leading the patrol as they closed in on the nests location making sure to keep slow enough so they wouldnt lose him. If occasionally that meant the cat behind him got a facefull on his tail as he waved it behind him to check they were still there well he was just being prudent.

Crowspeck followed closely, unwilling to get lost in these dark, close tunnels. He had tripped way too many times already, and he wasn't eager to do it again. Of course, he made sure not to get a mouthful of Crowtooth's fur in his mouth, but that wasn't his main focus right now.

Wolffang really didn't want to be late. After all, how humiliating would that be, being late for his own patrol? The tom didn't find any reason to stall in the clearing any longer. Turning to the two white-furred cats, he meowed, "Come on, let's go to the RiverClan border. Be careful not to get your paws too wet." Wolffang, more than any cat, hated wet paws, and the weather lately hadn't been helping with that. Turning around, he headed toward the camp entrance.

He probably should be getting in more time with his siblings. There was Rosebriar, the only sibling who he shared both parents with, and who had been born in the same litter as him. Having recently learned how the dogs had mauled her had shaken him, but his own fury at what had happened to his dead Clanmates was even more painful. Hopefully, getting out on patrol with one blood relative would help.

Yes, Snowypaw was his half-sibling, one of many, all of which shared Featherwhisker as a mother. There was Morningpaw, too, his old apprentice, who no longer resided within the Clan. He used to hate her, but now he missed her. And Deadpaw... the tom felt a lot better about going to apologize to her. He had hated her, too, but had learned that he shouldn't have been so harsh on her.

Wolffang looked over his shoulder. He did really feel as though he should be bonding more with his Clanmates, but that was difficult. His deputy duties, the threats hanging over the whole Clan, as well as his inner turmoil didn't help things in the slightest. But that didn't matter. Shaking himself, he continued out of the camp and headed toward the RiverClan border.

Jaykit's paws were cold as they slowly walked towards the edge of
the camp, the chilly morning wind tugging at their blue fur.
They sat down at their usual place and wrapped their slim tail
over their paws, gazing over the camp. It was one of their favorite
hobbies, watching their clan-mates was the best way to learn about
them without actually talking to them. And oh so mush one could learn
just by taking a step back and looking, they way their fur twitch when
they were annoyed or how they stood differently depending on which
cat they were talking to, it was quite fascinating if you asked Jaykit.

It was a pathetic reason to end up lost, but it was the truth. Thistlewing looked down at her paws, shuffling them in shame.

Twilightstar didn't like the excuse even if it was a rather valid excuse. The warriors that continuously got lost made WindClan look rather terrible. It was beyond irksome and troubling to call some of these cats warriors with the number of times they'd recognize their own territory. "This is the last time I am allowing this Thistlewing, if you go missing again, you will have to look for a different clan." Twilightstar had a very stern three-strike rule, she wasn't going to keep accepting excuse after excuse from the same cats.

Twilightstar bore her fangs at the apprentice's words, however, she relaxed seconds later. She couldn't tell if the apprentice was pleading because she actually wanted to be in WindClan or was just scared of being on her own. "You don't act like you have a purpose nor do you seem to care that you left WindClan. It seems like you simply expect me to bring you back into clan, like nothing. I'm not bringing another selfish cat into the Clan." Twilightstar meowed, but sighed a second later. "I'll allow you back in, do not make me regret this Martenpaw."

The slender she-cat stepped outside of her den, shaking her pelt, before noticing the long furred she-cat walking into camp. Twilightstar breathed in the fresh scent and wrinkled her nose. The face was familiar, but the scent was not. Stepping away from her den, Twilightstar walked up to the molly to get a better look at her face. "So it is you," Twilightstar took a seat in front of the apprentice. "Morningpaw, you've been missing for a bit."

"Oh! Funny you ask! I'm sorry I was gone, but I had been watching shadowclan patrols." she said. "I think their striking some time soon." she looked at her leader worriedly.

Foxpaw walked into twilightstars den taking a deep breath. She was here to apologize for her actions at the meeting. She didn’t know how twilightstar would react or if she would even care but it mattered to foxpaw. She had felt so bad and wanted to make it right. Twilightstar? she called out before sitting down

Leafpaw ran into twilightstars den worry on his face he tried to calm down as got further in twilightstar can I talk to you? he asked as calm as he could. Mudpaw was missing and he wanted to look for him but he wanted permission from her. They needed every cat they could get to protect themselves from windclan and he missed him and was worried about him.
