Patchwish looked up at the Shadowledge, surprise on her face at getting chosen to be a mentor again. Hopefully Asterpaw would be a better apprentice than her last one. She looked around for the cat in question. Ah, there she was. Patchwish padded up to the black and beige she-cat, reaching down to touch noses and then pulling away.
"Hello, I'm Patchwish. I'll be your new mentor."

The apprentice frowned at the news of a new death.

Foxcall nodded at everything though felt a small amount of fear for those who would get the new rank.

Vulturekit shrugged and went back into the nursery.

Sorrelflare hummed at the name of the new Enforcer, nodding that she deserved the spot before he slinked off into the shadows.

Great. A new rank that fitted what he was doing already. It sucked, it really did. But, his life would be no different. Well, he suppose it was better than being dead. But was it? That was the Question. But, he had a perfect plan to escape. He would ask a weak- scrawny cat to bring him out for- something. Once they are in the territory, he would claw the eyes off of them. And make a run for it. It was perfect. Dawnstar will never see it coming. Neither any other cat. He just needed a good enough reason to get out.

 

Foxtooth thought he would claw himself? He could ask to look for herbs. Or starve himself until he was starving and some cat had to take him out. Or he could catch some kind of sickness and get some herbs.

He just needed a cat to go out with. He looked around for any cats worthy of becoming blind.

Mistyblink padded up to Foxtooth. "Hey, u-uhm do you...um mind going out with me? I-i don't wanna be in this meeting." she meowed, trying to make her voice firm but it was shaking with nervousness. Mistyblink rarely spoke to cats let out went out of camp with them..well other than her brothers and sister.

Foxtooth turned to the voice that seemed to be talking to him. He looked the cat in the eye. "No, i don't mind. In fact, we can go right now. I need to hunt anyways." He said, he didn't even have to do anything. He waited for- was it Mistyblink? He was too busy thinking of an escape plan to talk to any cat.

Cloversun's eyes widened, then closed. She could feel a groan forming in her chest and she lent against Mindbranch to let it out into his fur. How long would she be able to avoid this new rank? How bad of a warrior did you have to be to earn it? Probably around her level.

Mintbranch turned a bit red and rested his head on Cloversun's. "You ok?" he asked.

Sootstorm took in this new information with some hesitance. A new rank? It was unheard of. It kind of disgusted him that Dawnstar thought she could change the rules, but he made sure his thoughts didn't show on his face. Although, he guessed it was possible someone was guiding Dawnstar from StarClan...
