Names of Characters: Kita and Vixen
Relationship: Friends. Kita helps Vixen whenever she feels like attacking someone. He's the one of few dogs that understand it's an instinct for her to attack a suspicious or annoying dog (Suspicious and annoying in Vixen's opinion).

The Base

The pack members live in a long, shallow valley. They call it their "base". There are 2 entrances. One main entrance (1) and one lesser known side entrance in case of emergencies (9). Inside the valley, there’s a small prey cave (2), where hunting patrols drop off prey. Across from that is the Dog’s cave (3), where Scouts and Members sleep. They’re located close to the entrance in case of an attack.

The next row of caves is the cave of the Young (4) and the Nursery (5). They are in the middle of the base to ensure the younger members are protected from all sides. The last set of caves are the Medicine cave (6), where the sick and injured sleep with the Alpha and Beta of Medicine, and the Leader’s den (7). This den houses the other two Alphas and the Beta of Defense. It is also where the Alphas and Betas gather for important meetings.

At the end of the main part of the base is a large incline where Alphas go to initiate pack gatherings (8). Just behind that is the second, smaller exit, usually blocked by rubble (9).

The Territory

Temperate Deciduous Forest
• Hickory, Oak, Elm, Birch, Sycamore, Maple, Evergreen trees
• Weather generally sunny or partly cloudy, occasional rain

Prey
• Small: Mice, Frogs, Toads, Rats, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Small Birds
• Medium: Rabbits, Larger Birds, Possums, Raccoons
• Large: Deer, Birds of Prey

Threats
• Moose [extremely rare], Birds of Prey [rare], Foxes [uncommon], Possums [common], Badgers [rare], Deer [uncommon]

Possible Natural Disasters
• Earthquake, Tornado, Thunderstorms, ???

(1) The base

(2) The forest spans a large portion of the southern and western territories. Deer can occasionally be found, and are quite a treat when caught.

(3) Slim Lake is a generally safe place. Some mentors teach their apprentices the basics of swimming, while other dogs simply come to relax. The most threat here is snakes, which can be easily avoided given pack members stay alert. Ducks, geese, fish, and other water loving creatures can be found here.

(4) Treebarn is an old manmade barn which has been abandoned since before the virus outbreak. It is very unstable, and has a large oak growing inside of it. Few dare to go here, though mice and other tiny creatures lurk.

(5) Flower Meadow is a large, flat area with some rocks. In the Spring, flowers of many different colors bloom and fill the air with fragrance. Dogs with allergies or issues with pollen steer cleer of the area. Not much prey is to be found here.

(6) Training Plateau is where the majority of mentor-apprentice training sessions occur. Large, flat, and grassy, it's a great setup for practicing fighting moves and hunting.

To the west is the city. Only scouts are allowed with Alpha permission.
