Jay nodded a little bit, feeling reassured and a little less nervous.

She smiled and waved, grabbing onto her one overall strap, smiling brightly. She was missing a few teeth, but this never seemed to bother her, no matter what anyone said. "May I ask what you two are doing out here?" She asked, smiling overly bright, her red and purple eyes softening as the moon rose.

”well, we were just going back to my friend group. i have a friend who’s currently really interested in plant life and such, so he brought me out here to show me how much he knows. then we met about three other people, maybe four, i dunno. then i met Jay and now you!” Ivy chuckled a little. “gotta admit, you’ve a nice style.”
Jay became distracted by the moon and stared at it, his eyes glowing even more since it was turning dark out.

"Awe, thanks!" She said, giving a very good bow, considering she was on roller skates. "Going anywhere specific?" She asked, thinking of Lily when she mentioned the plant life. She doubted that the girl knew of the dream land, and the rules, that lily broke one.

”oh, indeed. it reminds me of my eyes, how it glows brightly, elegantly. sure mine aren’t…elegant.. but i still find the moon and i with much in common.”
”ooo- yeah, they’re definitely similar now that i notice! very pretty.” Ivy nodded, looking at the moon too.

She glanced at the moon, before looking at her watch. "Oops, I didn't change my watch from the dream land one..." She mumbled, hoping they didn't hear. She grabbed a small pockstwatch. "It's 9:30 currently." She said, looking at them.

Ivy nodded. “do you wanna come with me? i can introduce you to my friends.” she smiled and clearly didn’t hear Rain say anything at first besides the time.
Jay was still too distracted by the moon so he also didn’t hear.

"Uhm, sure!" She said, smiling, and following after them on her rollersjates, moving in simple fluid motions, a smirk knitted onto her face. Would they follow her? Probably not. But maybe.

Ivy clapped a little with a smile, then got Jay’s attention so they could go. on the way back, she hummed something that sounded a little ominous and spooky but also calm and quiet.
Jay listened to the humming and while he thought it was spooky, he nonetheless enjoyed it.

(if you know what the show Over The Garden Wall *abbreviation: OTGW* is then the thing Ivy’s humming is the Latin version of Potatoes and Molasses, which i can link to you if you haven’t heard it)

As she rolled along the flat path, she ignored Ivy's humming, paying more attention to the real life woods, something she hadn't heard or felt in a long time. Birds chirping, wind blowing... footsteps... wait. Footsteps?

Ivy glanced around, kinda stopping for a second. her visible eye squinted, then she mumbled loud enough for the two to hear, “we may need to hurry back. let’s get a move on. ándale.” she started off again, quickening her pace and having the other two follow.
Jay nodded and quickened his own pace too to keep up. his glowing eyes seemed nervous again as he looked around a lot.
