Icekit bounded over to Batkit, crashing into them with a thud. "You went outside the camp?! Whats it like? Did you fight anyone? Did you see any other clan cats?!" She bombarded, her fluffy pelt was spiked with fur from excitement

Seapaw reached camp and saw Streamflake. He trotted over too her. "I'm am so sorry Mrs. Streamflake I don't know what I was thinking ..." Seapaw admitted, he honestly really didn't know what he was thinking! "Batkit could of been hurt or froze and I didn't realize that, again I'm so sorry ..." Now Seapaw wasn't sure if he was really sorry. Did he just say that to get out of punishment or was he really sorry? He couldn't tell himself, but he wouldn't want to have hurt Batkit. They were a bright adventurous kitten, kinda funny too. Why would anyone want to hurt them?

Streamflake faced Seapaw, her eyes held a fragile somber and scared expression. "Listen, I know your in a rush to learn, But I have lost kits before." She explained, referring to icekits litter. "I was worried, hes my baby now." She whispered. "I accept your apology, again I wont refer this to Pikestar or your mentor." Her eyes were visibly watering now, the thought of losing more kits was devastating to her

Batkit flopped over as Icekit barreled into him. He threw his dirtiest glare at the nursery entrance, though Streamflake would probably never see it. Even though they were a coward, Batkit would find a way out. Always. The kit sat up slowly and stared at Icekit. "Um. I swam in the snow," they replied. Batkit felt a little proud that they had left camp before Icekit...though he would bet his favorite pebble that Icekit would've loved to go out as well. Batkit felt bad for going out before Icekit. His mind trailed to Seapaw. Maybe he'd enlist the apprentice's help in sneaking out of the nursery? If Seapaw wanted to risk their mother's wrath. Batkit certainly wouldn't. So why was he plotting his escape? "Ughh," he sighed, flopping back onto the ground in despair. "I'll never get to see the sun again nowwwwww," they whined. He turned his head to stare out of the nursery at Seapaw and Streamflake talking. "Save meeee," he muttered.

"Hey! Im going to be a apprentice soon! Maybe mom will let me take you outside!" She pondered aloud, flopping onto batkit. "Yea! Then me and you could go on the coolest adventures and win every fight!" She giggled, playfully nibbling on batkits ear for enthusiasm

Seapaw felt a bit bad. The queen must have felt really sad ... Seapaw shook his head, "T-Thank you" he meowed. Not knowing what else to say, he turns around and walks off. He looks behind himself at the nursery, he saw tiny Batkit. The kitten must feel so sad now, stuck in the nursery probably. And for all he knew Batkit was stuck there 'till he was an apprentice. That would be a bit sad. Maybe he would be able too visit? If Streamflake had forgiven him by then.

Seapaw sighed and turned his head, he then started trotting towards the apprentices den. He needed to sleep. He was tired and wanted to get this event out of his head. Maybe he would have a dream about catching a ton of prey. Or maybe the dream he had a lot, the one where he became leader and all the cats listened too him. Seapaw smiled, that dream was a great dream. He entered the apprentices den and curled up in his nest, closing his eyes, ready to sleep.

"Okayy," Batkit conceded, returning to his original flop form, not bothering to do anything about the nibbling on their ear. He felt like wallowing in his sadness at the moment, so he dragged his sad carcass to their nest and then flopped in there.
