Cat gasped as she was pushed, and her hands tightened around her skirt. Even though she was upset, she wouldn't cry. Wouldn't show it. Wouldn't reveal anything. She took a deep shuddery breath, and began yo make her way to her next class.

Jessica got her food and walked through the tables to find a spot to sit. But people were giving her weird looks and seemed to make no seats available for her. Jessica didn't blame them. I will never make friends... She found an emtpy table at the very back of the cafeteria and sat there, sighing sadly. She poked her food a few times, eating slowly.

As Cat weaved between the tables, she got a similar reaction from people. As she passed, she could hear people whispering about her. She kept her gaze away from the other students, and sat down on the other end of the table Jessica sat at.

Cat looked up, and gave her best fake smile. "Of course! I'm always here to help." She put as much cheerful energy into her voice as she could, and made sure none of her nervousness or how upset she was showed.
