Jovie quickly pulled her hand away from the cat, confused. "What's wrong?" she asked it. She didn't notice the window.

*Shadow laughed, her teeth razor sharp and slammed her claws at the window, smashing it before disappearing in a puff of darkness*

*The cat barely dodged the glass shards and charged back to Jovie*

*Samantha pulled a few shards out of her arm and backed up*

"We should get out of here."

Jovie sat frozen, staring with wide eyes out the window. After the weird darkness was gone, she threw her pillow through it - just in case the laughing thing was still there.

Jovie nearly jumped a mile when the door opened. She pulled the blanket on the bed up, whipping her head around to stare at Ciara.
