Rees had finished unpacking his room, which hadn't really taken him very long, since he didn't own many items. Why he had all the boxes? "Because screw trees," he muttered to himself, once again looking around his room. Stretching out, his back hurting slightly from being bent over a bunch. He sighed, and tried not to cough from the stuffiness of the room, at least, what he thought was the stuffiness of the room, his mind had a tendency to make him feel like he was sweating or tired when it was nothing. Open the window you idiot, the thought suddenly came to his mind, he blinked at how that hadn't come to his mind, and opened the window.

A cold air automatically hit him, causing him to blink in surprise. Looking at the very boring view of the next house, he noticed that the window across from him was also open. His teal-ish and silver eyes looked at the teen across from him, though the cat sitting in the window was kind of blocking his view. He reached out a bit, and found that the house was reasonably close, he could almost touch it with his hand. That's slightly useful, he told himself, a playful smirk running across his face. Listening silently, he overheard soft singing, and joined in, his Irish accent making him flinch for a moment, knowing that he didn't live in Ireland anymore, and wouldn't really hear it from anyone else but his family, who didn't exactly like him, but he lived with it, continuing with the singing either way.

Ellie shrugged, "I'm what most would call self-absorbed," she said simply, "A narcissist," she added. "Apparently that's a disorder," she rolled her eyes. "I've been called a diva, self-absorbed, and plenty of other crappy names that aren't 'Ellie'" she added, counting off each name with one of her fingers. "Not like that matters," she snorted, "As I'm better than them anyways," she laughed. "But yeah," she mumbled, "Apparently I come off as rude, even if I'm just saying what I think," she finished, looking at Chris again.

Josh stopped singing as soon as he heard another voice join in, making him look at the cat in surprise and slight fear. "Did you just talk?" He whispered to the cat, not even realizing how silly that was. Josh looked at the cat with wide eyes as it licked it's paw casually, the boy still unaware of the the other next door.

(I feel like I should make another character to interact more XD)

Rees couldn't help but giggle as he heard his neighbor look at the cat. To be honest, the giggling didn't stop for awhile, his hetrochromatic eyes lit up with amusement. He laughed again, "Cats can't talk silly. That beautiful voice was coming from yours truly," he was now leaning against the windowsill, his flower crown falling into his eyes a little bit, forcing him to push it up again, pushing his pink sweater sleeves over the edge, so his arms were dangling, though he was still trying not to laugh.

The teen jumped up at the sound of an accented voice again, his eyes shooting up as he located where the voice came from. What he didn't expect however was that there was another teen there as well, guessing it was a new neighbor. He examined him for a moment, noting how odd his style was, yet he liked it. But the only thing that stood out to him was his eyes. Those unique eyes were something he's never seen before. Teal and silver. Strange colors for eyes. "Oh, r-right,” Josh finally answered, embarrassed by his silly thought of a cat speaking. “You have a nice voice.” He added anyway, glancing at the small black cat as it got off the windowsill and wandered somewhere else.

Maybe he would actually find a reason to push away his mental illnesses with this other teen, as the thought of dating him did cross the Homosexual's mind. He glanced at the cat as it moved out of the way and wandered somewhere else. As the cat vanished, he looked back at the other teen, smiling still, and there was no hint of awkwardness in it, though he did feel slightly awkward on the inside.

Wyatt bent down to pick a flower. He sat back up and turned toward Ellie. "A flower for the lady." He smiled before licking his lips once more.

"Smart boy thought a cat was talking to him" Rees teased, giggling once again. Thinking he heard his mom calling him, though he ignored it, looking at Josh again. He still had a slightly mischievous smile on his face, though it had pretty much been replaced with just a happy one, which accurately represented how he felt. Happy. He was actually pretty happy for the first time in years, and he wasn't going to replace that feeling for the goddamn world.

"Not surprised," she forced out, glaring at the man for a moment, before she attracted her attention to Wyatt, blinking rapidly for a moment, before she took the flower. "Thanks...?" She blinked, her green eyes glancing back and forth from the flower to Wyatt.
