i imagine sun's seen her through every stage of her life so he likely knew her as a kinda timid kit and then an eager and excitable apprentice who was very much an over achiever and graduated early because of it to a warrior who could hold her own and was still riding the high of graduating early and being able to finally be helpful.... and then the absolute disaster that came as soon as she was made deputy :^D !!!!
