The elder's joke made Lightkit lift an eyebrow at her. He suppressed the urge to shrink back at the sight of a stranger and potential social awkwardness, though he was pretty sure they'd met once before.
"What do you want?" he asked quietly.

Linnetwing was focused on all of her clanmates around the camp. It was great to see everyone again. Even seeing new clanmates was great. The molly was broken out of her thoughts when Forestpaw walked up to her. She looked over at her. "Hello. How are you doing?", she asked. It had been a while since an apprentice talked to her. The last was her former apprentice Brightpaw. Now he was gone and she felt ad. He was like a son to her.

Coming back only to get Barleypaw into warriorhood, but then I most likely will be leaving entirely. I've spend too much time on her to not have her be a warrior and I'd like to get her there.

Forestpaw picked herself up and licked her paw a little embarrassed. “ U-uhhh-Uhh I-I...” She stammered for a second before clearing her throat. “ I’m good thank you very much! How...how are you?” She asked Linnetwing. Hmmm is this one of the 1st adults I’ve talked to? No....because I’ve talked Birchpelt my mom, Nightfeather that Riverclan cat, my mentor Sageflurry, and maybe one other? Well she’s still one of the few....what if I mess this up? What am I going to mess up? Ahhhh. Forestpaw started getting nervous and her tail started twitching.

Best friends..? Flamekit barely had any friends, so a spark of excitement burst threw her at the mention of best friends. She hesitated for a moment though, not sure what to say, when it struck her "Sure--!" she smiled a little, then picked up the moss ball, throwing it to Lightningkit. She hadn't played moss ball in forever, so she was a little rusty on how it exactly went again.

Lightkit did remember that. It was required. Her contemplated on wether becoming an apprentice was even a good idea. He would have to deal with an annoying mentor, but he could also leave camp and be alone.
"Yeah, sure, whatever." he grumbled.

Lightkit lashed his ragged tail thoughfully. So, he was going to have to listen to tales of other's stupidity, as if he didn't already experience it first paw. Oh, well, could be worse.
(my auto correct almost made me write his reggae tail lol)
