That was a lot of new warrior names. So many good warrior names! She looked confused for a moment as she heard her mother get an apprentice. Queens weren't supposed to get apprentices, were they? And then, the name of her siblings were called. Her name was called! She had just accepted that it wouldn't happen, but it really was!
She looked up at Acronfall, then to Cloverkit, then up to where Spiderthroat was. Wait, when did Leopardkit get up there!? Didn't even wait for the rest of them. Breezekit gave her pelt a quick lick, making sure there was no bits of moss in her fur. She had to look perfect for this. It wasn't just the family's first apprentice ceremony, but it was Spiderthr- Spiderstar's too. Gently, she nudged Cloverkit, before stepping forward. "Come on, Cloves."

Lavs immediately perks up as he hears his name called by Spiderstar, the new leader apparently. He'll unpack that later, right now he's just glad to finally be entering his apprenticeship. The silver tom bolts to the stormcrest, skidding to a halt with a proud smile on his maw. He's finally starting his training.

The chocolate kit was sitting in front of the nursery, he was scribbling something in the sand. He didn't know what, it just made him happy, truthfully. Keeping to himself mostly, unless his father came to tap on his shoulder, or if he saw his siblings saunter his way. He couldn't tell he was being called up, he couldn't tell exactly what was going on, just that there were a lot of ThunderClanners happy, and in turn, it made his smile grow bigger and bigger.
The calico looked at Alpinemoon , eyes narrowing. Dad trusted her with another apprentice when she got nervous training him?? What gives! Instinctively Beetlepaw made his way towards Alpinemoon, roughly sitting himself right next to her.
"Whenever your new apprentice gets here. Honeypaw or whatever. Let's go train." he chirped. His tone minimally grumpy. He tried to put on the grumpy persona, he really did. But truth be told he was excited. Excited to have a training buddy. Hopefully it wasn't a girl though. Cooties and all of that.

"Don't cry. Don't despair. Now's not the time for that."
he nodded towards rose-sis as she spoke, cautious, that would be ideal, yeah. he turned to smallfrost, a glare in his gaze. "shut your trap. how dare you accuse the spirit, who looks exactly like dragonflycliff, of not being her? you are a disgrace. youre disrespecting the deceased. get out of my sight." he spoke with an anger he never felt before, dragonflycliff had died fighting for thunderclan, and he wouldnt tolerate any disrespect.
he turned back to rosepaw, and then to honeypaw, "sorry about that... oh yeah honeys we're just chatting!" new warriors!! hopefully that would be him soon, "rainstreak, sunflowerfire, butterflybrook, lightningstrike, cloudedcreek, dawnflutter, sagelily!!" soooo many new warriors, that HAD to be a record!
then reassignments, and then new apprentices, kestrelkit... there was one who was born after kes went missing, but didnt that kit go missing too? so who was this one? he looked around, and then his gaze landed on her. "kes? kes! where have you been???"
⊹₊⟡⋆ Honeypaw often avoided meetings, he could hear exactly what was being said from the warm comforts of his nest but this particular meeting was too grand for the sleepy apprentice to miss. So of course the diluted torbie dragged himself out of the den, fur not correctly groomed as usual, and made his way into the crowd. From the snippets he'd been paying attention to, Bumblestar had made her appearance and said something about stepping down which couldn't be right. She had just gotten better, why would she want to give up her permission as leader? Spider throat then started calling out names and filling the ranks. It was a lot. To much really for the slow and tired apprentice to comprehend at this point. Dark blue eyes searched the crowd for the familiar pelts of his siblings and once he located them he did not hesitate to walk over.
⊹₊⟡⋆ He neared them just in time to here the words the warrior was spouting to them. Quite frankly Honeypaw had no idea who dragonflycliff was yet he'd been hearing the name of that warrior quite often really. Either way, he didn't like the tone of this warrior- or was it what they were saying? He didn't know their vibe was off. How could someone pretend to be someone else? ”mornin’” he greeted tiredly bumping shoulders with his siblings and then yawning. He gave the warrior a once over, a very unimpressed look through half lidded eyes that said he wasn't buying anything they said. ”mhm, that's nice…” he drawled out addressing the stranger before turning his attention back to the real stars of the show currently. ”so what exactly is going on here, Driz? Roe?”

[ This is probably filled with errors and doens't make sense but that's what happens when a bunch happens and I don't post in a timely manner. ]
It was so so so so much change and up until this point Rosepaw didn't realize just how much she despised change. Or maybe it was the kind of change she was witnessing at this meeting, more importantly, Bumblestar- err... Bumblebreak stepping down. AT the very least she was remaining in the hornet ranks but then Spiderthroat ( or should she call him Spiderstar ) was stepping up into leadership and then.. The russet tabby's eyes widened as she heard Spiderthroat call up his new deputy all in one swift announcement. It was...
Flintclaw.
FINALLY- Like geeez if cats just started listening to her there would be so much that could be done so much faster. Like Rosepaw has known for moons how fit Flintclaw was for a higher rank in the clan, and while she was thinking as a hornet at the time, that was because there was no deputy position available. ( Not to mention how many exiles she predicated and tried to take care of herself but was ignored- thanks guys. ) Over all, while she was still enraged at the change of leadership, how the failure of should-be-exiled drove Bumblestar into stepping down.
Bumblebreak. Drove Bumblebreak into stepping down- honestly, Rosepaw should take care of the issue herself to prevent any more pain and failure from the Exile. Words from the former leader filled her brain.. It calmed her, against her will, a silver lining that could console her for the time being. The price of leadership was unrewarding, and Bumblebreak deserved to step down when she wished- no matter what Rosepaw thought. There was a new medicine cat apprentice as well. Very well. She was pleased to hear this, her trust had been broken in the current ranks held in medicine and hearing that they were not only replaced but replaced with cats that Spiderthroat personally trusted with high regards was enough for her.
Rosepaw's ears flattened, she was becoming overwhelmed but it seemed that now the meeting was resuming to regularity. Warrior ceremonies, to which there was a fair bit of them. Actually she would prefer to be up there within the next couple moons, but she didn't want to skip on any important information as an apprentice so really it was up to her to keep bothering and teaching so she would be a well rounded warrior rather than someone that failed basic tasks. ( Her mind floated to her only patrol thus far that just about made her crash out. )
After staring for a moment longer, Rosepaw got up and made her way over to Drizzlepaw's side. Settling down and only just then noticing the spirit that has welcomed itself to the camp. She didn't like spirits, not in the slightest, they could right keep them to their own territory in the stars and not invade the living they have left behind. But she shouldn't start a new scene. She's caused too many lately, but she did almost glare at Dragonflycliff, it was more suspicion then it was anything else.
"I say we be cautious but tolerate the spirit."

Lynxpaw had seemingly disappeared off the face of the planet, but Sparrowpelt didn't let this surprise him. Instead, he was giving yet another new apprentice, so he followed tradition, padding up to Beepaw and placing his nose to his forehead. "I look forward ta trainin' ya," he spoke softly before Spiderthroat moved on with the meeting. Then, he heard them. His children's names. He glanced around, shooting Beepaw an apologetic glance before racing away to the nursery. [ @Primrose - Beepaw ]
OH! He was frantic. Sparrowpelt heard his remaining children being summoned to the front. Two of them had been missing at some point or another, but that didn't matter! He wouldn't have to search the nursery daily or be bitterly reminded of their lost mother when he smelled the sweet scent of milk and new children in that den. They were all going to be apprentices now!
The warrior raced over to Lavenderkit first, purring happily as his tongue brushed over their head and he quickly worked to get any debris out of his pelt. "Look at ya! Go on, get'up t'ere wit ta others, I'll grab yer brother," he encouraged with a quick nudge.
Were those tears forming at the corners of his eyes?
Then Sparrowpelt whipped around, trotting towards Frogkit and nudging him gently. He was blessed with communication through signing and charades, motioning towards the Stormcrest and pointing a paw towards Lavenderkit who should already be up there sitting with them. "Apprentice time, time to get up there!" He'd both mouth and sign to the kitten. Once more, his tongue would brush over his face and head, picking out debris from this one's pelt.
Yeah, those were definitely tears in his eyes. His babies weren't babies anymore.
Sparrowpelt would walk Frogkit to the front if needed, sitting him beside Lavenderkit and touching his nose to each of their heads before passing by Kestrelkit, where he'd pause. "I'm glad yer back in time fer this," he murmured, also placing a nose to her head and making sure she was debris free. Then, he'd retreat to the back of the clan. They'd have to sit through this ceremony alone, it was tradition.
His ears would only twitch a little at the mention of Kestrelkit's disappearance. His gaze settling on Drizzlepaw sitting amongst his siblings. He began to wonder how their training had gone. Slowly, he'd pad their way, having missed the entire bickering about the spirit who happened to appear. Honestly, Sparrowpelt had been around so long, he didn't even bother to acknowledge Dragonflycliff. It was just another day for that. "We'll ask questions after ta meetin', let 'em have their moment right now," he gently spoke to Drizzlepaw, but his eyes shined with similar curiousity.
Treepaw padded up to touch noses with her new mentor...Smokefang, or something?
@Red Dawn
Smokefang, the double faced ThunderClan Warrior
He/Him
One moment he was just listening to the meeting...
All this, all that, honnestly, the tom only half listened to what was said, something he now really regreted since it could bite back in the future.
Meh, wouldn't be that bad anyway, he just had to follow what everyone else was doing. No outings in the territory? Okay, he wouldn't. No going in the nursery, he would follow that too if his clanmates didn't do anything.
That was a simple strategy, just pretend you listened and follow what everyone else was doing...
But just at the moment he was about to really just focus on something else...
'Treepaw to Smokefang'
The tom closed his eyes, wishing good luck to whoever was Smokefang and-
Wait.
His eyes snapped open, wide as saucers.
He was Smokefang.
He looked up to Spiderth- No, Spiderstar, and his jaw opened a little out of surprise. There was no way it was him, right? Right? And it was at that moment that the apprentice that was assigned to him decided to show up on his left.
The grey eyes of the tom landed on his, his, apprentice.
Oh.
Taken aback by the sudden news, the tom blinked two times before it finally clicked in his brain.
Another silent 'Oh' in his mind.
Smokefang slowly lowered his head, answering to his apprentice's gesture as he composed himself.
Inside, it was still a hurricane of thoughts... Two faces of a twisted mentality bickered in silence with one another, on one side, he had to give everything he had as a newly appointed mentor, but on the other side, it would be so, so much harder to carry out his actions...
Hmmm...
Smokefang discarded those thoughts. He will find something later, when he would be alone...

Dad was leader? Bumblebreak was no longer leader. Her sister was medicine cat apprentice. Their deputy was some cat that she didn't even know the name of until moments ago ( though she did notice he was apart of the otter patrols but she had other priorities during that whole situation. ) So much has suddenly changed and honestly... it made her feel.. lighter then she has in days, at least since the otter patrol returned and how it got heavier after the former medicine cats' failures. Her dad was alright, hell, alright enough to be up there and stepping into leadership. Her family is the most together than it has been in moons.
Things were okay- ALSO not too mention that WOOO Butterflypaw was a warrior now! ALSO ALSO Wasppaw's new mentor was dad! Finally! She felt a grin spread on her face though really it was more of her usual half smirk, she was getting a mentor that could actually do there job- and double that, if dad was lacking somehow on the training front, Wasppaw would just rally all her siblings against him- hah, take that.
While she didn't yell exactly, something told her that if she tried it would hurt like hell with the lack of yapping she's done recently, Wasppaw was already planning route to find and personally hype and congratulate her family after the meeting- before bullying her dad into training because Wasppaw REFUSED to be so far behind Butterflybrook.
Acornfall was listening to Nightwhisper, purring at Breezekit's promise and giving his daughter a lick on her ear. Everything seemed fine. He chanted the names of the new warriors, they were good names. Apprentices were being reassigned and such. He gave Nightwhisper a friendly nudge when he was assigned an apprentice, he knew he'd do great. Mothflame too. But his heart stopped when he heard Bri was assigned an apprentice. Eye widened, ears leaning forward. Did...did Spiderstar do that on purpose? Or did he forget Bri was a queen? He soon got his answer when the leader called the kits up for their ceremonies.
...wait. CEREMONIES?! The brown tabby sat stunned for a moment, shaking himself when he saw Briarmask trying to get the kittos straightened out. "Don't panic! It's okay! Don't panic! You'll do great!" He mewed as he frantically gathered their hoard litter together, helping to straighten fur and clean pelts where he could. Though, he was likely mostly talking to himself. He had no idea they were old enough to be -paws already...where did the time go?
Acornfall blinked when Bri passed him, saying she was going to greet her new apprentice. He gave her a purr in response, watching after her. When did things start to move so quickly?
Burnedbark's ears tipped forward at the announcement of Butterflybrook's new name. Fitting. He liked it. The reddish-brown tom cheered the new names, giving special attention to Butterflybrook. She deserved it. He gave her a nod, but hung back, allowing her to spend time with her family if she wished.
'Rise blinked when she was reassigned. Well, that was something she supposed. Sprucejumper...she wasn't familiar with that one. Her bright gaze scanned the crowd, searching for who might be her mentor now.
Spiderpaw blinked at Scorpionpaw, shaking her head again. The idea of her in such a position...unthinkable! "I-I appreciate you saying so b-but..." She let out a timid huff of a laugh and shook her head. "I don't really think it's for me..." She mewed. She let out a soft mrrrow in agreement to his comment about the -paws that were dragging along. "M-Maybe they were fussing over their pelts?" She suggested, it could happen. She could easily see that happening to her. She cheered the newly named warriors, ears perking forward at the announcement of reassignments.
She blinked in surprise when her name was called. She was reassigned to Silverleopard - wasn't that one of Acornfall's sisters? The brown tabby had helped her with some of her training. It should be easy enough to find her. She looked at Scorpionpaw, giving him a smile and a nod. "T-Talk later?" She mewed, flicking her tail in a friendly farewell before bounding off to locate Silverleopard. She wasn't surprised she was reassigned. Milkbee had a litter after all! Thankfully, Acornfall has been helping so she doesn't fall too far behind. She was hopeful Silverleopard would be nice and easy to work with like Acornfall is.
Acornfall blinked when Bri passed him, saying she was going to greet her new apprentice. He gave her a purr in response, watching after her. When did things start to move so quickly?
Cloverkit blinked.
Nighrwhisper gave Acornfall a gentle and friendly smile. An apprentice huh? "Wait apprentices already?" He said as he heard Acornfals kits being called up. "I guess our plans of our kits growing up together was a little uhh. Off " he chuckled, his eyes glancing over to Weepingwillow who had Butterflykit and Mothkit with her.
