The tom gave a brief nod, trailing out of camp
with a small smile on his face. At last, things are
back into schedule and not so…off. His mind wandered
as he walked. Wonder what Willowsky is doing. I miss
her already. My clingyness is an issue, maybe I should
start some self improvement practices? Nah, I’m fine.
He looked around. Oh right, the snow hasn’t melted out
just yet. Well, damn. The birds are still out though. Yep, this
is alright. Now, just speak your thoughts out, they may
be helpful after all. “None of the land prey will be out at
this time, I’d say just birds and tunnel critters are what to
look for now.” The cloudy tom mewed, his gaze lifting
to rest on the bright sky.

Maybe he'd been a bit too cool with his tone. Twilightstar's hard stare and the anger in her single green eye told him enough. It was odd. He was already in hot water and knew it extremely well. He respected Twilightstar and had the full knowledge that it wouldn't take long before she booted him out of WindClan's deputy rank. But he was acting like this, all to get an unfaithful warrior, her kits, and an apprentice back in the Clan. This thought instantly made him defensive against himself. Sure, I'm a little hesitant with Eldersky. But she does have two kits that she needs to care for. And... I might as well admit it. Most of this, maybe even all of it, is because of Fernpaw. He deserves to live happily in WindClan with his kin. Back to Twilightstar. Wolffang's views had never fully aligned with hers, although his development had helped quite a bit with that. Still, they didn't always see eye to eye, and she always seemed to be full of annoyance and criticism for him. Sometimes - most of the time, actually - he deserved it. Other times, well, he couldn't help but get the feeling that she didn't exactly like him. But she had trusted him enough to be WindClan's deputy and all his wrongdoings were his own fault, not hers.

Wolffang felt his muscles relax - had they even been tense? He hadn't noticed - as Twilightstar let Fernpaw back into WindClan. The deputy bent down to give Fernpaw a little head nuzzle as a means of welcoming him back into the Clan. "You'll get a mentor in no time," he murmured. Fernpaw was the one who he mainly cared about, but Fernpaw, after all he'd been through, needed to have his sister and kin back in the Clan. If Twilightstar rejected them, what would he do? Wolffang's bright yellow gaze shifted from Twilightstar to Eldersky and back and forth. Twilightstar was clearly displeased that she had left the Clan. He was, too. Was he being too soft and letting his... whatever it was, soft spot maybe, for Fernpaw get in his way of common sense? She's a queen with kits, and if she answers Twilightstar's question well... we'll see.

"Nothing has changed." Eldersky's words made him stiffen all over again. Was that meant to be an insult? Was she calling WindClan weak? Wolffang forced his claws to stay in as he fixed a steady yet stern gaze on her as he waited for an explanation. Then she spoke. She was here to be with Fernpaw, her family. Her words were raw and spiteful toward Twilightstar, and Wolffang had to admit... in a way, he could... relate? That word sounded too close. But Eldersky had committed her whole life to WindClan and had felt as though they hadn't given enough back. Wolffang had committed everything to WindClan, too, but he'd let his paranoia eat him up from the inside. How cats still looked at him distastefully and judged him. How nobody seemed to see how hard he was trying or that he'd changed. He'd overexaggerated it in his own head. He and Eldersky were in different situations, but... he felt like he could understand.

This wasn't his choice to make, though. It was Twilightstar's. The large, sturdy tom looked over to Twilightstar, but there was no influence or hidden meaning in his gaze. This choice was hers and he wasn't going to interfere with that.

Pinetail beckoned Bearpaw to him with his tail. They would do best where the most rabbits were, at the time. Probably around the middle of the moor… @Howlpaw+

A soggy wet tom padded into the camp doing everything in his power to keep his limbs from shaking and fighting off the urge to sneeze. No matter how hard he tried to fix his gait, Batglare's limp became more pronoun walked into the clearing. He cursed RiverClan silent as he found Wolffang. "RiverClan's border has been marked and is as wet as ever." He hissed at the deputy. "Mothwhisker is the only one who showed up, unless you have any other irritating tasks for me, I'm going to sleep." He stomped off without waiting for the tom's reply.

“Hm” Hazelcloud mewed, scanning the moor. Surely there would be some prey somewhere around here. And pWindClan needed whatever they could get. She kept her ears pricked.

“C’mon, let’s keep looking!” She meowed.

Honeystorm ran side by side with her sister. She smelled the air, and it was starting to flurry. Then she picked up a scent she couldn’t tell what is was, but it was something. “I smell something!” She mewed over the wind. It was faint with the snow but it smelled like a rabbit maybe.
